Just heard on channel 5 - no Ray, Rondo or JO.  I don't expect to see Rondo until at least mid-February. As for JO, who knows? Celts have not even said what the injury is to his knee.

Please tell me they are about to get us a C for JO! Nah never mind, it's just old hurt JO on break! I'm not really mad that JO is hurt b/c hell, I followed Shaq (last few years wow)... I'm mad that Danny may think JO is good enough for us to win. I'd start Wilcox over JO because last nights game and the one before he got injured again, looks to me he is starting to get his mojo going!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

We are 0-2 to Larry Bird's ****s and need to make another statement tonight. Perhaps we can see what the other Perdue Rookie JJJ can do tonight.

This is early enough in the season for Doc to tap into his bench and get some productivity and confidence out of guys like Marquis Daniels and Craig Wilcox.

Let us hope the real 2012 Celtics keep emerging and get to 9-9 tonight.

Definitely play that Craig Wilcox more--or people will start forgetting his name.
TP for making me laugh ;D

Sherrod Blakely just reported that Ray is at the Garden putting up shots.  Sherrod says he looks good but no official word.   Nothing yet on JO, Rondo or Dooling.

Ray put up shots on MON before the ORL game and didn't play so we'll have to wait and see.
i dont think its a health issue, he has a new baby, i think thats why he is taking the time off.

At least this means lots of development time for Bradley and Moore.  Plus Paul gets to keep upping his trade value.

Don't kill me for saying this but I like that Ray isn't playing (for now)... he knows the system through and through and he's always ready to go. I think it gives more time to other players who are new b/c Doc usually plays Ray the most of anyone. If Ray is playing, Moore would have never seen the floor last night! Early injuries or time off for Ray can be an almost good thing b/c when Ray has rest, he comes out shooting lights out... why not let Pie and Moore get some minutes, no need to rush Ray for any reason right now!

I cant believe there hasnt been a thread on it but read on the Herald JO said he's got fluid in the knee and its all about how it'll hold up and how much pain or effective it can be, in other words well be out our starting Center most of the year. (can't say im surprised)  >:(

Rondo and Ray both out

Jermaine also out - they said on the Pre-Game that he has a bone bruise on his knee.  Hasn't had an MRI.

Starters Bradley, Pietrus, Pierce, KG, and Bass

Doc really hugged Bass hard after the game yesterday and said a few words to him... I think it's because after another shaky start by Bass he turned a 180 in the second half (slightly unnoticed were the two deep bombs he knocked in b2b off of the same play, they were huge), he played really good defense too! I think Doc likes him as the starter but his two chances have started out very shaky so Doc is forced to stick with JO starting.

No kill, quite agree.  Imho Doc would be wise to mix and match, yout' and 'sperience. So far so good. Fear he will go back to same old, so hope these situations give in some faith in Brad, ET, and Stiemr.  JJJ, even

I am optimistic about this game. Even without JO, Ray and Rondo.

In the first game in Boston they killed us with second chance points. They had at least 15 offensive rebounds. This is the key for the game IMO.

Also, I wonder if Bradley can keep up with his defense. It would be nice to see Collison asking him to stop picking him up, like Nelson did. Go C's
