I don't understand you people! Seriously, we will lose against them b/c of no JO? Uhh, did you even WATCH the last game? KG is the one who defended Howard most of the game, he shut DH down!! The 4 or so baskets DH did make were in the first quarter and 3 were like back to back all over JO! I'm not saying JO is useless but he was not the reason DH got shut down, it was MOSTLY (and I mean MOSTLY) KG!! We played best when JO was on the bench! He had 0pts and 9 rebounds in 18mins, if that was the reason we won... yea, never mind, that's just funny!! If we lose it wont be because we didn't have JO but b/c of Orl. adjustments or missing other key pieces (really if Orl doesn't adjust that's just sad)!! Sure, JO allows KG to rest some but he was not that big of an influence on last game!

I again don't know why we haven't found another C, we gotta do something, JO is fine off the bench but it hurts us that he is our primary C (really only C with experience b/c Wilcox is always hurt and hasn't shown much when not)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I actually feel the minutes jermaine played against howard he did a very nice job.  He was really working at boxing him out and taking him off the boards, yes he got 14? rebounds but could have had 20.
saw the knee to knee thing, if he has any fluid on knee which I'm sure he does this really really hurts
I'd be happy with steimsma starting any ways.  He had some bad fouls (on rebounds) last game but still shows such great shot blocking AND he will pull howard away from basket with his jump shooting ability.  It will be up to kg, bass and pierce to be on the boards if howard is a few steps on off rebounding range.

And we know the Celtics won't let the public know what the injury is, and we will have to guess when he might be coming back. The situation with injuries continues to get worse. We all knew that JO was not dependable, but without him they do not have a center. The Ray and Rondo injuries are more unexpected. How many games missed will this make for Rondo, 4? And Dooling, I believe, has missed 7. They have to get these guys healthy. Why are there always so many injuries in Boston?
Did you really expect JO to make it through the year without missing games, well be dealing with this throughout the year

KG/Bass/Wilcox are going to have to do a decent job on him we can still with this game

This is one game that I would be willing to bet my house that the Celtics will lose. They are not going to beat Orlando two straight games with a starting backcourt of Sasha and Bradley, and they are definitely not going to win a game without a real center to start against Dwight Howard.

I did not expect JO to make it through the year healthy, which is why the center situation is a joke.

As for the injury, found this from the Herald: "center Jermaine O'Neal's left knee swelled after a knee-to-knee collision with Orlando's Hedo Turkoglu" No further info provided.

Didn't you already lose your house after the last Orlando game?  How many houses do you have?

vinnie's real name:  John McCain.
Rofl hear ya vinnie but you (and myself included ) said the same thing the last game JO played and we beat them that's why u play the games....besides JO didn't even play much
