So, what is the deal with JO?

I read on the front page that he is not playing tonight. Is there a thread about that somewhere? It really is shocking that JO is injured. The Celts had a great game Monday night. They will get destroyed tonight, as they will have absolutely no one who can guard Howard. If Stiemsma starts, he will foul out in the first quarter.

i havent seen/read anything but i am willing to bet it was when he hurt his knee the other night. when it happened, he was limping a little but finished the game

I saw him grab his knee in the last game. Could be that. DA really needs to get a C that can take more than one hit a game with out going down. I like what he's done when he has played, but he just can't start any more.

This is one game that I would be willing to bet my house that the Celtics will lose. They are not going to beat Orlando two straight games with a starting backcourt of Sasha and Bradley, and they are definitely not going to win a game without a real center to start against Dwight Howard.

I did not expect JO to make it through the year healthy, which is why the center situation is a joke.

JO grabbed his left knee after he fell taking one of those charges the other night. I immediately thought it could be trouble. Vinnie, I sometimes wonder the same thing: Why so many injuries to the Celtics? JO makes sense, but Ray? Dooling? Wilcox? Yikes.

Hopefully, the combination of KG, Wilcox and Stiemsma can at least slow Howard. And though I wouldn't be surprised to see Boston lose big, I'm not just going to presume that Orlando makes the necessary adjustments after their big loss; if the Magic have Turkoglu bring up the ball, he'll have to contend with Pierce, a good defender himself, and Bradley will still be hounding Nelson whenever Nelson has the ball. I also still like KG against Anderson.
