long time lurker, first time poster.
i think we are still very much a question mark. with signs pointing to us being able to make a playoff run. enough to beat miami or chicago, who knows...to me the difference from watching the games early vs. the last 2 can be summed up in with a couple points.
1. how many bricks did we throw up on wide open shots?
A: a lot .....the last two games its been GREAT to see those 17ft swishes again from KG, he may be old but he didn't forget how to shoot, so i was holding out hope that this was just a shooting slump, seems to be right
2. pierce looked sooo old
A: he seems to still have some game after the last 3
3. defensive rotations
A: how quickly can bass pick this up and will pierce get his legs under him enough to be a really solid defender again like 08-10
4. ball movement
A: remember in 08, 09, 10 we used to whip the ball around like it was a hot potato, it seems slow to me. now its rondo standing with rock while allen runs around like he is playing "tag" trying to get his shot.
In closure- i think points 1-3 are very likely to continue, meaning we are going to enjoy one more run/ last hurrah with these legends. point 4 is what will be interesting to see if we can find, a good mojo flow going with all the big 4 finding balance and touches with great ball movement
wow guys, I've been holding my breath and depressed for 3 weeks and waiting to wake up one morning, hit espn.com or this site and see this thing is gone, blown up.. hopping things continue on this mini upswing
finally ill add i am happy to add this season a Rondo limited edition jersey and a white KG jersey to my one and only paul pierce jersey I've had for years. me and that green #34 have been through so much. glad to have a rondo and KG jersey to help carry the emotional load night in and night out,
