Jeff Green amazing spiritual stuff

Jeff Green and Len Bias were born in the same area of Maryland, went to the same high school, were both drafted by the Celtics, and both had a serious heart problem....but Jeff found his.
In an interview Jeff gave earlier this year he said he was gonna come back next year and take his game to a whole other level. He certainly has the talent to do it and I honestly believe him.
Sometimes it takes something like this for a person to change their whole outlook on life, including basketball, however trivial that is when it comes to ones mortality. The Len Bias similarities are pretty uncanny and I think Jeff is going to play a part in the Celtics that unfortunatley, Len was never able to.

They say he has huge potential, just his drive isn't always there, he's okay with being a good player, not a great player.

This might give him the push not to take it for granted. Some one was looking out for him!

And its nice to see him hanging around the C's even if he has no contact with them. Shows how much he likes the guys and organization and how much they like him.

Yeah im really glad that he is still part of the team and that he loves being here. Doc really connects with his players in what seems like a fatherly way and Jeff seems to be one of those players.

I dont believe in reincarnation but I definetly believe in connections between individuals in the present and past. Thats pretty crazy.

I seen them both play and Bias was the better player by far, it is not even close.  Look at how high Bias gets at 54 secs into the vid it is amazing.

Well, if the notion is that the 'soul' is a person's highest potential and that Green is Bias returned, then the conclusion is that Green may grow into Bias's potential but having experienced pain/suffering, he's taking it a bit slower in this lifetime.

So who knows what'll happen in a couple of years.

Who compared them

This whole thread was stating how they had many similarities.  Aside from being from the same area and both having heart issues I don't see much similiar.  Why not compare Bird and Matt Howard because they are both from Indiana and white? 

Bias was a better player in college than Michael Jordan.  I can't say that about Green.  I too wish Green a speedy and safe recovery and hope he can contribute down the road.   

As humans we have a tendency to see patterns where there are none.  This is called an apophenia, I think this is a case of such an occasion.  While I personally do not believe in reincarnation, people have a right to believe what they want.

Being born in the same area, going to the same high school, being drafted by the celtics, having heart issues is a pattern. Whether you believe its spiritual is up to you but theres no denying the similarities there. I am the original poster and I never mentioned reincarnation, I mentioned a possible spiritual connection between the two individuals.
