Presumably we're going to blow this thing up. I could see us moving both Ray and Pierce (KG is impossible to move without taking on salary).

Bass is a nice role player, but he's not someone you build around.  He can help a contender.  He makes 4.2 mil this year and has a player option for 4.2 mil next year.  The pro-Bass fans seem to suggest Bass can fetch a lot more than 4.2 mil on the open market and will likely opt out.

So then, once we nuke 2/3rds of the Big 3, should we explore moving Bass to a contender?

Dallas, for example, has a 4.2 mil trade exception from the Chandler trade.  Would Dallas be willing to give up a late 1st rounder to add Bass to their playoff team?

No?  Yes?

I could see Dallas, Chicago, Thunder, and maybe the 76ers giving up their late first for Bass. We need to get as many 1st rounders as we can.
