Celts/Suns Game

So I get to a celtics game every now and then... unfortunately, I got to tonights...

Now don't get me wrong, I just enjoy being at td garden and seeing my team play. I love the experience. However, I never thought I would say the most positive thing about a game was avery bradley but he was solid. Most of his shots fell, he really bothered nash and even got a nice steal from him for a dunk. For a young guy to do that to a player like nash takes talent and I liked what I saw from him tonight.

Everyone else...not so much. PP had some nice assists and dunks. Bass was pretty solid like usual, pietrus hit some 3s, there was an occasional ray 3. Other than that...nothing.

At the start of the 4th quarter the celtics had 55 points... I had to blink a few times looking up at the scoreboard to make sure I was seeing things correctly... 55 pts? I mean granted the suns only had 60 but still... The suns turned it over 21 times and we could barely capitalize on it. The offense looked shaky for the majority of the game except in the usual 3rd quarter which seems to be a haven for the celtics this year.

Seeing it live, I could really see how much this team struggled without rondo on the court. But if we cant beat a struggling suns team without rondo, how can we do anything? We cant rely on one guy like this...

The bulls beat the cavs on the road today by 39 points without drose, and we cant do anything without rondo...

The way this team played tonight, you can kiss any hope of the playoffs goodbye. At this rate, it may be better to just miss them anyway and get a better lottery pick for the long run.

To end this little rant, I am happy I got to go to td garden tonight and see the big 3 play. It may be my last time seeing them live, as idk if I'm going to make it to another game this season. They will always be my favorite players, and I'm happy I got to see them play despite the shaky game.

But I have news for anyone who thinks the team can make the playoffs... not if they play like this. not if they rely on rondo to this level for everything...

Hopefully we'll see banner 18 soon enough. For now, thanks for 2008 guys Please play better

haha unfortunately. The thing that kept me going was telling myself, at least this wasnt the pacers game... nothing beats that haha
