Taking a couple of the rumors based on the following talk.

Memphis sour on OJ and need a big?

A trade centered around KG

Pacers looking to move Granger for the right piece, and invest in Paul George and keep winning.

A trade centered around Ray

Atlanta looking to move Smith for the right price and keep winning.

So my idea goes a little like this.

Ray to Indiana w/ Dooling a first for Granger and a second and 2 million trade exception.

KG to Memphis for OJ a second and a 5 to 10  Million Trade Exception.

Bass, JJ and More, 1st and what trade exceptions it takes to make them agree on smith.

Indiana gets a one year rental, keeps winning, a first and out from a big contract.

Memphis keeps winning, a one rental with KG. They are better with KG than OJ

Atlanta gets a offensive PF and a couple prospects, a first and ride of a big contract, trade exception all for a slight down grade at PF.

Boston says we are not going to get Dwight or D Williams and looks young with maybe a trade exception of 3 to 6 million and a young core of

Rondo  bradley

Pierce  Mayo Q
        Granger Pietrus
Smith Wilcox
Oniel Stiesma

We could keep pierce as our vet, or explore other scenarios.  we are locked up but may need to get a center to look strong.

Okay beat it up guys.   Indiana and Atlanta get financial flexibility w/ trade exceptions.  Plus first round picks and only slight down grades.  But the pieces they are trading are wanted to be gone, or have suitable back ups on there team already.

Multiple team trades are hard...but number look close.

From what I understand Memphis and Indiana have cap room.

Boston sends approx 35 Million takes in 32 Million

Indiana sends approx 14 to 17 Pending on trade exception and  takes in 12 Million

Memphis takes on 21 Million sends 6 w/ OJ.  Uses Cap Space (8 Million) and some of trade exception from Indiana

Atlanta sends 12 Million gets 7 in salaries and the rest to equal 125% in trade exception from Indiana.   Its close....

I'm still skeptical the money could work except with the Indiana trade . . . but even so, it doesn't really make much sense to me for any of the teams involved except for the Celtics in one or two cases.

Improve us? hmmm?? I'd trade Jeff and Roy for Bob Ryan and Bill Simmons. I'm not sure if ESPN will take the deal though. Also, I think Jeff and Roy make too much money. We'd never get the salaries to match up.
