Danny is a [a jerk], he knows well he has screwed last season's Perk trade and breaking out the lighter fluid aiming at the big 3. You can't bring in a failing team from last season into the next. Danny didn't create a fit with Jermaine O'neal, plus is so obvious in knowing full well Marquis Daniels hasn't and couldn't backup Pierce. Marquise, who was suppose to be Posey's replacement has hardly been available for playoffs. I came on here bashing Danny for choosing Marquis and Sasha with James Posey and Al Thornton still available. Signing him along with Sasha Pavolic was not only asinine but calculated. What bugs me about Ainge is he watched Lakers sign Artest and never thought it was their Posey type even after he did exactly what Posey did by playing huge in the Finals. Recently Shane Battier was signed by the Heat. Am I to believe Danny is this stupid that he believed Daniels and Sasha could handle the many small forwards who've killed the C's early on? Our 1st win wasn't until Paul returned from injury, which says a whole lot about the backups. He wants to trade the Big 3, not consider it. He expressed it before many times, doing it in this fashion is pure(Plaxico) self inflicted. Even if there is a solid plan after the trade moves, it doesn't take away from the failure to successfully replace the pieces(bench) of a championship driven team most recently.

In a workplace setting, sabotage is the conscious withdrawal of efficiency generally directed at causing some change in workplace conditions. One who engages in sabotage is a saboteur.

Why is the OP going on and on about Sasha and Marquis being the defensive stopper at wing off the bench?

Dunn, you are aware Danny signed Mickael Pietrus, right?

Also, sometimes bad luck happens. I first rounder from the Clips and Jeff Green seemed like really good value at the time of the trade. Who knew the Clips would finally do something smart in the off season and that Jeff green was going to have heart problems?

Danny isn't a saboteur. Given the hand he was dealt, he's trying to play his cards as well as he possibly can. If that means having to trade the Big Three, so be it. This era had to end at some point.

I respectfully disagree with the opinions of the OP, on the grounds that I find them poorly supported and semi-coherent.

James Posey and Al Thornton still available

they both are still availabe.....

Doc has build a nice bench behind our starters, just our starters arnent the players they used to be. I understand its hard to handle but the big 3 erra is coming to and end. The fair weather fans will be leaving and the hard core fans will remain to wait out the storm. There is nothing danny can do to fix this team tomorrow, its going to take some time.

just please no Marty Colon or ML Carr (coaching)

I felt it was important to have worthy backup wings if you know your in a conference with Lebron, Carmelo, Joe Johnson, Luol Deng, and Danny Granger. Pietrus was a result of their ineffectiveness early on. I don't buy the two wings or Jermaine O'neal as a good fit. Insulting IMO, since we knew this same three unable to aid the big 3 last year. Feel like it's his doing to make this transition from the big 3. Glen Davis and Marquis Daniels should have never been given so many chances to fail this team. Danny can put blame the big 3's way. Saying he didn't create a good fit is me just being honest that based on last season he had to of known that. I agree though, make the transition, because he's failed them enough.

Beagles are awesome and very cute. I just can't stand all the noise they make.

In that I'm lucky our beagle is a weird one, she only barks rarely when someone knocks on our apartment door. That's it, nothing else.

Its funny other beagles are weirded out when they bark at her and she doesn't respond.

DA obviously tried to get the best talent to put on the floor. it is ridiculous to think he would deliberately sign bad players to make a trade. You need to realize that players also have a say in where they chose to sign
