Howard is the better player right now and for the foreseeable future (and is only 3 years older), but Griffin's marketability is incredible.  If you are Sterling do you make that trade if that is all Orlando wants and won't accept any other trade (though frankly Jordan and Butler would be on par with just about every other offer, especially with Bynum's constant health concerns).

I don't know that I would given Orlando's position and the other rumored offers, but I would certainly think long and hard about it.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I don't like players that jump ship when things get tough and that hit less than 50% of their free throws. Also Blake makes way way way less money for now

The money doesn't add up, but that is fixable. If you can trade Jordan for a good PF, I would do it. Although it is strange if they  trade away all their young assets from last year's starting lineup.

I'd keep Blake.  He's like the evolutionary Karl Malone.  Though they probably would win more with Dwight... I'd still hang onto Blake.

Blake is already better offensively than Dwight ever will be.

Dwight is better defensively than Blake ever will be.

Still...  I'd go with Blake

Blake should still be improving and I like the three years younger thing too. Three years in the NBA is a long time. Plus Griffin played in college for a couple years, which is a lot less tread off the tires

I sure as hell wouldn't trade Kevin Love for him.

OMG. Kevin Love is better than D Howard and Rubio is better than Rondo. Wow. Wow. Timberwolves. We've been Khaned!

Love has moved ahead of Howard on my want list by the slightest of margins, maybe because, he would bring almost as much talent to the Celtics, and he might actually be interested, were DH is albout warm weather, movie stars , ect right now.  Both seem in great shape and I think can play for many many more years.

I might be tempted offer the bank /team for Love ..if I was DA.
I would trade even Rondo , if it somehow brought Love to Boston.....and I'd throw in Ray or PP. ...Ok shoot me , but thats how I feel. ;D

Tim Duncan for Shaq?

In their prime, without hesitation.
