were also 4-8 after the first 12 games. For those that don't remember, that team finished 24-58.

When is the last time the Celtics lost 5 in a row? Good effort tonight, but it just shows they are not good enough. They played hard and tough, but they just aren't good enough. My 38 win prediction isn't looking too good.

I'm willing to bet that the Celtics finish with better than 24 wins.  Any takers?

I'll take it if they lose two of their next three games

Yep. So they'll have to do better than 24-42.  I think they can manage.

Just take the number of bad teams they play, multiply by 1, and you should get the number of victories they will have this year.

wow didn't realize Scal averaged almost 20 mins a game that year.. those were dark times.

for folks who are clamoring to trade KG and pierce, my advice is take a look at the roster from that year, subtract pierce, and see what one rising superstar and a team of young, scrappy, supposedly 'exciting' players looks like.

Why were Perk and Rondo struggling for minutes on that team? Oh yeah, Doc Rivers was the coach.

I'm sticking with my prediction of 35 wins.

Well if we repeat 2006-2007 than we would hopefully get the 1st pick to make up for the injustice of that year's draft lottery.

And this is what people want to go back to? Being a real fan means going through the good times and the bad, and if the masses on this board get their way then I have to agree with Roy, its going to be a long decade of sucking.

With an improving Pierce, Pietrus and hopefully Wilcox at some point, we should be able to improve enough offensively to creep slightly above .500.

With KG at his current level, can't see us doing better enough defensively for it to matter though.

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler
