i don't

This. I see so many other rookies playing so many more minutes for so many other teams. Darius Morris of the Lakers played 20-25 minutes last night. These guys might be average players some day, but not much beyond that.

theres no way to tell that with the limited playing time these guys have gotten...Doc has never played rookies usually, so I wouldnt use that as a detriment to these guys...and besides Moore already looks like a solid "role" player..

you can find real solid players at the point in the draft we got Jajuan johnson.

Rajon rondo, danny granger are two examples.

Johnson already has an NBA range of offensive moves. maybe he wont be KG level...but Carl landry level perhaps one day..but I dont think we've seen enough out of him to project either way.

all I know is he already has nba range

You are  probably right, but I am going by the odds in terms of the success rate of players drafted where these guys were. If I can't make an assessment, then clearly the OP's assessment that they are going to be special is a little over the top.

I suspect Moore is going to start to see some minutes.  Bradley got his shot to show what he can do over 11 games, and now we know.  He did improve, but I like Moore's all-around game much  moore, and we definitely need the occasional jumper Moore might hit.

JJJ has a bit more overhead to break through to get consistent minutes, though, with KG, Bass, and Wilcox all ahead of him.

Umm just to tell you guys but, JJJ is a horrible player from the draft, I don't know why Ainge wanted this late-1st round pick for our mid-1st round pick. JJJ statistically is not a young KG replica and he doesn't even look like a rookie that can grow. He looks like a young Sean May replica to me, heck, Sean May looked better than this wash-up pick

?

I'm not seeing the Sean May comparison.

Yeah, that was literally the most idiotic comparison I've seen.

It wasn't the worst I've seen, but it was uncalled for. JJJ seems to have some potential. Moore is already getting more minutes than I remember any rookie getting since Rondo.

either Sean May ate JJJ or he means he'll be out of the league in 5 years...ie a wasted pick - I disagree on both accounts

If I were to judge conservatively I would say that Etwaun could be a very good back up combo guard in the George Hill fashion, and Jajuan could be like a 16 and 8 guy, maybe more but that is up to him.

You could be right, but I definitely don't see that as a conservative assessment.
Your right, it wasnt too conservative, but I think thers a good chance of it.

Admittedly I didn't see the game last night but from what I read, Moore came in for Bradley who was stinking up the joint and did nothing in the first half when the game was on the line.

He then came in instead of Bradley in the second half when it was fairly clear the game was over, played the rest of the game and made a few shots in a garbage time fourth quarter.

Before that he has shown absolutely nothing resembling a pro game this year except for having made a couple of outside shots and a good pass or two in two preseason games in garbage time fourth quarters against the Toronto Raptors.

Can I ask those that love this kid, besides his You-tube highlight reels, what exactly do you see in E'Twaun Moore because I'm pretty sure most of you didn't see him play at Purdue and nothing he has shown me thus far tells me he is any better than Bradley in any form except for his outside shot?

I saw him play two games last year and when he was with Purdue and he just didn't show me much. Johnson did, but Johnson also showed me he was not strong enough yet to play PF in the NBA and not laterally fast enough to play SF. But he had a couple of great games in the two games I saw.

Help me out here because I do hold out hope that Johnson can be something and I am impressed with Bradley's defense though his offensive game needs much work. But I really have never seen what people are so gung-ho about with Moore. Give me some details. What is it that has you so in love with this kid and please, for the love of God do not show me highlight reels from college. I think I could make a highlight reel of some no name nobody from Nothing State that could make that person look like the next Michael Jordan if I wanted to.

I like what I've seen of the rookies so far.  I wish Doc would give them more of a chance to get into games and get some experience.

What have I missed?  I'd love to see them on the court because it's fun to see rookies play, but I haven't seen anything from them at all.  When have they played and looked good -- especially JJJ?

The first play he made after coming in the game was a steal. He then hit a 3. In the 2nd half he looked even better. He shows a tight handle and poise. He hit another jumper and hit a floater in traffic high off the glass.
He looks like he can handle the backup point guard spot as well as hit the spot up 3 and even create his own shot.
Rookies are supposed to make an impact in limited time and thats exactly what he did.

Agreed.  I thought E'Twaun looked pretty solid last night in his first extended NBA minutes.  He started off by cleanly stripping George Hill or Paul George,--I forget exactly which player it was--hit some nice jumpers and looked solid with the ball in his hands.

Moore pertty much has all the skills and a solid all-around game.  He didn't look completely lost out there like Bradley has and Giddens and the other draft busts before him.  He's a basketball player, and appears to be a possible solid rotation guy in the making.

Reminds me of Kevin Gamble, and that's a good thing.

I hate to correct you but he came in made a steal and missed a three. That three pointer he made he made at the very end of the 3rd quarter when the team was down 16. The other shots he made were layups.

Perhaps he showed a tight handle last night and maybe he shows poise when he is playing when the team is down 16 points but I will have to agree to disagree with you guys about him. I haven't seen anything from him defensively and offensively he shows a bit better stroke than Bradley but that's about it.

I like both of them and they got good experience from college but they can also shoot I wish they would get more playing time.

I didn't watch the fourth quarter but I saw the rest of the game and I thought E.Moore looked dreadful in that time.

I don't think he deserves court time.
