Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are BRUTAL

I cannot believe how bad these two guys freaking look....they are actually brutal....we have two legitimate players with Rondo and Allen, plain and simple that's it....get rid of Paul and Kevin and bring in Dwight!  Paul and Kevin will beat up on the bottom dwelling teams to get their stats right by the end of the season, but they are liabilities....neither can play defense anymore and neither rebounds...brutal..brutal...brutal...And I'm so sick of everyone saying nobody else on the Celtics can run with Rondo, Ray Allen only runs a thousand miles everygame and is in better shape than anyone in the league...he just played 41 minutes tonight??  Celtics best lineup is Rondo, Allen, Bradley, Pietrus, Bass....just saying...just my opinion...this just stinks that we can't win any of the past 3 games at home...If the celtics can keep Rondo and Allen for next year and add a good big man they will be fine...just please get rid of the garbage on this team(PIERCE AND GARNETT)>>

think about it... pierce and kg, (about half of our payroll this year), are playing as bad as pavlovic, and we are still within single digit points of winning these games. its remarkable how close we get with 2 of our big 3 playing horrible.


someone on here said they spent too much time with the lockout politics and the players union and not enough time working out and focusing on potential start to the season.

I have  no problem with letting those two get their sea legs, we've seen flashes and I think they will work out.
Jermaine ONeil on the other hand    I understand doc is trying to get everyone minutes to get acclimated and in shape but JO looks like he should have retired.  Sheed old and injured looked better.  Glad to see Bass & KG start, still think kg and stiemsma starting and keep Bass coming off bench.

I'm for benching PP and see if he can get better, he has a long contract left , but I think he still has fire in his belly. He just can't compete hurt. Older you get the longer it takes to heal.

Probally best just ride out KG , play him , pay him and be done

SOmeone else mentioned in another thread my exact feelings.  I hate this type of team that the Celtics have become , stuck in limbo of mediocrity, with seemingly no way out.  Over the hill players and not so great young players is going no where. Useless for trades of one has been player for another washed up or average players is a waste of time or kicking the tire down the road, at the end of the day we are still stuck in a funk of mediocrity.

If we can trade for a couple new superstars (like NY) did to rebuild around , ok , thats a good plan. but if not (as I suspect),then I would rather watch a group of highy touted young draft players develop .  At least its fun to watch em grow up see what the future brings..

I've always been against any trash talk against any member of our Big Four, but last night I wanted Pierce and KG yelled at, spat on, chased out of Waltham with a broomstick, and traded. HOW THE HELL CAN YOU PLAY FOR 17 YEARS IN THE NBA AND MISS 6 OPEN JUMPERS?
 
But let's be real now, neither of them ever play a good whole season. We always start good and finish it bad. Maybe this season it's other way around, but come playoffs Pierce and KG always wake up and carry us on the most of the games (Ray and Rondo carrying us on the rest, when first two are missing).

what a guy you are.  as frustrating as they were to watch, the two of them have given everything to this organization and deserve respect.

I like Danny Ainge, but feel his mistakes the last two years on personnel is catching up with him. If we had a back court of Tony Allen and Delonte West coming off the bench, we would have much better leadership and intensity.

If things don't correct soon, Danny should blow up the team, and play for a better first round pick. And hope that a key Clipper gets hurt, and they slide to the 11th pick!!

yeah we will start eating our words when Pierce and Garnett get their numbers against the WIZARDS and the BOBCATS haha...lol...they can't do it against any good teams, cmon man!  Their washed up, I knew Paul would make an excuse about his heel, whatever, and KG can't get a REBOUND!!!  haha if either of these guys make the ALL STAR Game I will never watch another second of NBA ever again....they are in the bottom half at their positions in the NBA....WE probably have a top 5 backcourt in the NBA, now if we could make a trade to get a legitamate frontcourt we will be fine....

lol he even said he's not 100% rite now his mid range shot aint falling rite now so these "old flopping tricks" you speak of is nonexistant u gon act like he scored 21,000 + points on "old flopping tricks" alone wow some of you guys are talkin wreckless Pierce aint over the hill yet
