I'm for benching PP and see if he can get better, he has a long contract left , but I think he still has fire in his belly. He just can't compete hurt. Older you get the longer it takes to heal.
Probally best just ride out KG , play him , pay him and be done
SOmeone else mentioned in another thread my exact feelings. I hate this type of team that the Celtics have become , stuck in limbo of mediocrity, with seemingly no way out. Over the hill players and not so great young players is going no where. Useless for trades of one has been player for another washed up or average players is a waste of time or kicking the tire down the road, at the end of the day we are still stuck in a funk of mediocrity.
If we can trade for a couple new superstars (like NY) did to rebuild around , ok , thats a good plan. but if not (as I suspect),then I would rather watch a group of highy touted young draft players develop . At least its fun to watch em grow up see what the future brings..
