I always thought Doc was a bad coach until Thibs got there. Last year, Frank made him look good. And now...

This is 100% true.  100%.
Lawrence Frank is a pretty mediocre coach.

He's a poor leader, but knows what to do.

Doc's a great leader, and has no idea what to do.

Doc needs an "associate" head coach, and there's a reason for that.  He's taken more credit than he deserves.

PG is not our biggest problem.
I'd say it's the rest of the starters except Ray.  Then I'd say it's the inconsistency of the bench.  Then I'd say it's Doc's coaching.

Then, maybe, Rondo.  Nope, taking that back.  I think Ray would be a bigger problem.  The Rondo as the least of our problems.
Good for us then. Welcome to mediocrity, enjoy your stay.

That, or maybe we need players that aren't calcified solid.

i want to see jjj play

At least he can jump. He needs to start. Along with Stiemsma. What do we REALLY have to lose at this point!?

Pride.
LOL

That ship sailed a long time ago. We lost 3 in a row at home. We lost to the Hornets. We are currently being beat out for the 8th seed in the playoffs by the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS. Should I go on?
Yes, the Cleveland Cavaliers start someone with a legitimate all-around game at PG.
PG is not our biggest problem.

Our biggest problem is the center position and rebounding.

"No rebounds no rings." Its not said because it sounds cute, its said because it true. We stop letting teams get second and third chance points, we win a few of these games that we lost.

While we give everyone else a chance to get second and third chance points, we give ourselves NONE. I don't know how many times I've said this but as soon as the ball leaves the shooter's hands we're already trotting back down the court.

Our paint is like a wide open free space that no one is scared to enter. At least when Stiemsma is in we get a few blocks. JO? Nothing. We need a true starting center.

THEN our offense...why is it so stagnant? That needs to be figured out. Why are shots not falling?

THEN our rotations. What works best when? Who works best with who? What is the point of a bench we don't use?

PG position? The LEAST of our problems.

Right, because Pietrus can play 48 minutes, and the Bulls are never going to put their starters in. Please.

I'm not putting words in your mouth. Also, using proper punctuation helps to be taken seriously.

Give it a rest. Rondo is the only bright spot this season. People need to stop acting like Rondo ran over the puppies with a lawnmower.

The problem: we're in year 5 of a 3-year plan. This team is old and declining. We're still trying to get juice out of a dried up, rotted lemon. We didn't make any moves this offseason to improve our roster, while a few other teams were able to. We are what we are because we lack quality pieces.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

how's that good for us?  we are mediocre at best but it's not because of our PG.  it's because the rest of our roster isn't contributing.

I thought Chicago was overhyped coming into this year but man, I'm a believer now.  That team is for real.

Danny needs a plan for the rest of the year and the next 2 years to get this team back on the upswing.

If Danny turns the roster over, I would like to see a new head coach.  Never liked Doc and the fact he uses a system that takes so long to learn (and not yield results unless he has elite players) is not helping this franchise.

Doc just signed a new 5-year deal.
