I don't believe anybody has answered me yet -- is there a worse offensive team in the league than the Celtics are right now?

We're 23rd in points per game.
We're 29th in rebounding.
We're 7th in opponent points per game.

Both our offense and defense suck.

On the bright side, at least we'll have a lottery pick in the 2012 draft the way we look right now.
Twas a great year to suck!

It sounds crazy but Doc should consider starting Wilcox and play KG at the 5. I like Bass better coming off the bench, someone can actually run with Rondo, and add a little energy to the lineup.

I like this idea.  Wilcox needs some run (pun intended) to see what he could do.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Dudes ...I wouldn't want to be in Dannys shoes right now, this really goes back on him at this point
Does it though? Not saying you were one of them, but a majority of posters on this blog would have drawn and quartered Danny if he had broken up the big 3 before the start of this season. Now that everyone sees that they are finally toast, lots of guys are trading their green blood for reality. Its sad, and we all have to suffer together, and I know we have to point a finger somewhere, but I don't feel Danny is the sole reason we're about to go into the crapper. It was a gamble on guys that gave us a championship, and most of us were on board with giving them another shot.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
The most disappointing thing by the guys in the Celtics uniforms is the visible lack of them being mad....

At themselves

Where is the heart Celtics?

Come on!!!!

The lack of effort is the most disappointing aspect. These guys should be so disgusted with themselves that fights break out in the locker room.

I really hope/believe that tonight we hit bottom!

I really WANT to believe that....
The Celtics aren't quitters. Why should you be? - blind homer

Seeing coach Tibs sitting on the other bench reminds us of how GREAT this team defense was a couple years ago.

We can NO LONGER play that kind of D because KG and Pierce cannot make those rotations.

THAT is why I suggest sitting them this game.  This team was built MORE to play defense than offense...  They can't do it, and hence, will struggle mightily...

Why?

It´s not Danny´s fault that players age, nor is it his fault that people would´ve gone crazy if we had blown the team up before this year.

Somebody's fault for sure for a humiliating situation like this.
Danny or Doc, or both. You choose.

I´m not sure if that´s sarcasm or not.

What´s humiliating about having four good years with a three-year plan?
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I agree...I thought we would win this game on sheer pride and ego alone. I refused to believe they would allow the Bulls to come into their house and do what they're doing, ESPECIALLY after the loss to the Mavs. I was wrong...

I love how Danny Ainge is becoming the new Dan Duquette of Boston. Some good moves, some bad moves, built a championship team that should have one 1 or 2 more. Short memories in sports.

PP's game has dramatically dropped this year. I just can't believe he's done.

I guess it might just be the sad realization that they know they're done...

You misunderstand...I'm a Danny fan....I think he did a great job for the most part....I'm just saying at the end of the day it falls into his lap ...like it or not, right or wrong... that part of business...Ihope he can make the correct moves to right the ship in the next 5 years
