Dude is a 6'6" pg/sg who is compared to Tyreke Evans (who danny loves). He could very well fall in that 15-18 range and I think he would fit in real nice next to Rondo.

he has also grown an inch since then and is now 6'6" in shoes.

All the talent in the world but can't put it together consistently. He plays too wild for me to be comfortable drafting him. Seems destined to be a good player on a bad team.

I though he was scoring like 17 a game pretty consistently. Can you elaborate please. Also what prospects do you like?

How about 22% from downtown and 54% at the line and averaging more turnovers than assists?:-))

They said that about Mr. Potential, himself, Gerald Green too.  That worked out well.

I swear some of you guys on here just look up negative stats on a player mentioned just so you can disagree.

Why do i start topics? they just turn into dudes argueing over gerald green. Remind me to not bring up draft prospects again since everyone on celticsblog is too busy wallowing in misery because we lost a game.

Well, this is a discussion board.  Not everyone is going to agree with you and the fact they're pointing out statistics makes it a pretty compelling argument.

I don't know about his stats but from watching him, for every highlight reel play, he makes 2 dumb turnovers. Think the pg version of JR Smith. Not horrible but I think there are better players. If we weren't about to enter a rebuilding phase I'd be more open to it.

Yeah but i mean you can point out negative stats about any of the guys in next years draft. Seems kinda pointless being that they are still works in progress. I'd rather look at what they can do at this point in their career.

I will agree with donoghus here. If you want to have a thread that supports a player, that is good and fine.  But such a thread obligates you to provide some form of support for your views.

Help us all out here please. What makes you think this guy has "crazy potential"? Obviously it can't be his shooting, judging from stats given.

I find that for most posters here, they don't look up stats to back up feelings as much as base feelings, and ideas, upon stats.

So please let us know why this guy is good. If you give some stats or YouTube or something, it would be helpful.

Thanks.

Your right. I should have pointed out why I think he has potential.
Well first of all, he is an excellent driver and is able to get to the rim very effectively. Apparently his shot is pretty spotty, being great at times and off at others. He has prety nice moves for a young player as well. The number one thing though is that he has elite passing ability. Thats why he gets the Tyreke Evans comparison. He can rack up assists or turn it on and score. I love players who aernt point guards and can still pass really effectively. I wonder what a team made up of good passers would be like, especially with rondo on that team.
Anyways here is a video to show you what i mean. by the way he plays good defense too.

Thanks for the clip. He does look really quick and it was fun to watch his passes.

Tp for you.
