Adjective: Affected by lethargy; sluggish and apathetic: "I felt tired and a little lethargic".

I couldn't think of a better word to describe the Cs this year. Where is the emotion we once played with? Everyone looks like robots on the floor. Not even KG gets fired up anymore. Our crowd is non-existent because we are giving them nothing to cheer for.

I have never been more frustrated as a Boston fan. We have the talent. We have the pieces. Yet, we are looking like a mediocre, borderline playoff team. I think part of the problem is Doc. He needs to quit treating these guys like they are his best friends and start demanding a better effort on a nightly basis. This is ridiculous.

Our offense is atrocious. Our rebounding is even worse. We jog through the motions and the results show. Something has got to give. We are better than this. I'm tired of seeing this "it's early in the season" stuff. We have to right the ship and stop playing as if we have a playoff spot waiting on us.

-For the love of God, shoot the ball KG.
-Quit playing 4 or more bench players at a time.
-Start hustling on every play like we used to.
-Move the ball quicker on offense.
-Get out in transition more (AKA secure defensive rebounds).
-Show some emotion. Get excited when someone makes a play.

We have time to make things right. We just have to man up and do it. No more excuses.

I think we better start a petition or something... Gather some 1 million signatures or FB likes to convince Garnett to SHOOT THE [dang] BALL!

  • Rondo = Good
Very reminiscent of the 2010 team during the regular season, except I don't have much hope that there's a higher gear that they're simply not bothering to go to.  I think this may simply be the team that they are right now.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Unfortunately, I think you may be right. It's almost heartbreaking to see these guys struggle like this. I've been one of the advocates for keeping this core together, but it may soon be time to start looking into trades. It's early, yes. But the effort doesn't seem to be there anymore.

Our bench and Rondo kept us in this game.
