Van Gundy with a good point about the C's lack of defensive rebounding hurting their offense by leashing the transition game.

I really hate all this swatting at the ball we do instead of actually rebounding with 2 hands. 98% of the time we swat it right into the other teams possession SMH.
yeah, that's really aggravating.  need to just grab the ball

That last Mavs possession is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. 3 chances to score. 3! Because we keep love tapping it all over the place. Its disgusting.

Haywood doing a nice job on the offensive glass.

Gotta do a better job keeping a body on him.
This team doesn't know what boxing out is

On the positive side, the FG% has evened out, they are in a fairly tight game and are playing the world champs.

So can we really be complaining THAT much/

yeah, Haywood actually did what you're supposed to do on the defensive boards too -- blocked his man out and was able to control the area so that he could actually GRAB the ball

Hollinger's power rankings take a few weeks before they mean anything.

Just not enough games to give it a proper sample size at this point in the season.
