Kahn was right on Rubio.  He was just really, really wrong preferring Jonny Flynn over Stephen Curry.

It is such a small sample size, though. I am a little surprised at how well Rubio is playing thusfar, but Rondo is still pretty amazing at every aspect of the game (except free throw shooting). I am not jumping on the Rubio bandwagon yet, but I am happy his game seems to be translating to the NBA. I honestly thought he would never wear a TWolves jersey.

And, Roy, you are totally right about Flynn. It was a questionable move at the time (drafting two pgs so high) and it is even more questionable now, since Flynn totally fizzled out after his first year.

He's a better free throw shooter, and a better three point shooter.  Those are the only numbers where he's really better than Rondo right now.

You also failed to mention whether you've been looking at the games. The Wolves are looking good right now on NBA TV against the Bulls. I'll take Rondo, but Rubio might be special (best case is he's a blend of Nash and young Kidd with a little).

Not right now, but considering how good he is as a pure point guard as a very young rookie, I'd venture to guess that it won't be long before Rubio is a better all-around player.

In a small sample size, which should logically be the hardest time of his career he hits threes at about 3 times the rate, hits free throws faaaarrrr more efficiently, has similar rebs and steals in less minutes (which makes sense because he's taller) has a couple blocks (also possibly because he's taller) per 36 minutes is only 1 assist less, and is doing it all on the Timberwolves instead of with 3 hall of famers and a former all star point guard for a coach like Rondo has.

Then there's the whole part about how Rondo definitely didn't have stats like this his rookie year

Isn't it widely accepted that when stars come together individual stats go down?
