The best thing is he genuinely looks excited to play for the Celtics, happy that he's healthy, happy to play for Doc etc

You couldn't ask for more

dude's got a nice attitude.. i'm lookin forward to those french threes and french steals, oui?

these are the kind of guys we need in Boston. he understands the Cs history and what is expected in Beantown. he even said something about looking around and seeing the 17 banners. his appreciation for our franchise will go a long way with building chemistry with the vets and trust with management.

as i said the day we signed him, Pietrus will be huge for our team. is he an all-star type talent? only a senile fool would argue that. but he does bring some much needed scoring and outside shooting. on top of that, his defense isn't too shabby. he will allow Doc to sub Ray or PP out with confidence that the replacement can and will produce. i don't think we'll see Pietrus' true value until Doc decides to shorten the rotation and he sees time with 2 or more starters, but his impact will be felt nonetheless.

the guy WANTS to be here and has let that be known. that type of attitude is exactly what an organization wants.

The #1 thing I took from that video is that he wants to play on a physical team. Perhaps his dislike for Phx increased his distaste for soft play. He is willing to go out there and bang on defense.

He seems to actually be funny, not just a clown like some players.

Yeah same. I've always like this Frenchie, and his play at times surprised me, in a good way.

Let's just hope he lives up to our expectations? :)

Hoping to see how this guy can spread the floor for second unit.  Hopefully Bass will be more effective with another shooter out there.

Also I don't think he needs to replace Daniels, they could complement each other on offense with Marquis playing the 2.

Yeah, Marquis seems to be really pressing so far this season.  I think he has kind of lost his timing.  He is rushing a lot of shots that he normally hits.  I hope this is just another effect of the lockout, and as he gets more comfortable, we will see more of the smooth player he has been in the past.

What? The Celtics didn't retire the immortal Sam Cassell's number?

That about sums it up with Quis right now. The looks are there but the shots aren't falling. Rim has a lid on it.
