A player that actually wants to come here, is still young and athletic. I'm not setting my sights on D. Howard at this point, as he'll more than likely go to Jersey where he wants to play.

So funny...I'd been thinking about certain players and their relationship with some of our players, and Joshn Smith comes to mind.

He and Rondo are supposedly good friends.

For me I wouldn't mind JSmith in Green. He isn't perfect, but I think he could help the team. I think he'd be even better playing in Boston.

AND - isn't he close to DHoward.........?

Rondo gets JSmith here....JSmith coaxes DH to come.....

I'd do it. Preferably KG, not Ray, mainly because I think KG will drop in usefulness faster than Ray.

I can't see them accepting KG for Josh Smith + cap filler. Would Atlanta accept KG + Ray for Josh Smith, Marvin Williams and Kirk Hinrich?

Eh, probably not.

How about Paul Pierce + first round pick for Josh Smith?

Yeah probably not.  However:  Teague, Allen, J.J, Garnett, Horford  as starters would kick some butt...not sure about the bench.

Josh can score and play decent bench defense. No way he would start here.

Who would start over him? He's much better than Bass.

Josh Smith is a guy that would have been on the celtics in like 04/05 or 05/06. He plays how he wants and jacks threes most of the time. I dont really want him on the Celtics.

Nope it is not time yet. Besides, Atlanta will not cooperate with us. If we were like 8th and 9th place teams in the EC standings around St Patty's day both sides might sit down and discuss a shake it up trade idea like this one.
The beatings will continue until morale improves
