He was the last resort on Magic team we easily dumped into a puddle 2 years ago. Why does everyone have think we'll become an incredible team with Pietrus' return all of a sudden...

Him being young, athletic and an actual viable offensive weapon has something to do with it I would say.

Can he be worse than Sasha?  My guess is no, so he can help.

same things he brought golden state, orlando, and phoenix?
kinda is what he is at this point...an athletic role player who can hit some awkward shots and 3s and defend a bit but now hes coming off injury....overall wont change much

If he can play anywhere near the level he was playing at during the '09 playoffs I would extremely happy.

wouldnt count on it....that was literally the best stretch of his career

I just think having another floor spacer out there with the bench changes the way defense play you and opens up the offense alot more...teams dont care if they leave Marquis open for a jump-shot and leave their man so they can play the paint more

We need as much 3 point shooting as we can get so sending JJJ to the d league and signing eddie house or keith bogans (far from  great but his 3 is decent and his defense is good" and have one of  those two back up ray @ the SG spot till Daniels get his game right

Pietrus is definitely an upgrade over Daniels.  I've seen Daniels clank at least 6 corner jumpers while being left wide open this year.  Pietrus will make those aforementioned shots, as well as slash to the basket better than Marquis does.  It seems like Daniels never slashes/cuts to the hoop on a direct line -- he's always dribbling too much with some herky-jerky type move followed by an awkward release.  I'm kind of over his game at this point.
