Did anyone notice the fast break with Rondo and Bass last night. There was one play where Rondo hit Bass for a nice baseline dunk on the break.

This is what I envision the rebuilt Celtics, built around Rondo to look like. Can you imagine surroundng Rondo with great young role players like Bass, Green, Bradley, Moore and a couple of young Max guys at the PF / Off guard spots who can all really get up and down the court with Rondo?

I do not think we will see the best of Rondo until he surrounded with a team that can really run with him night in and night out.

Rondo will tear teams apart if this type of team is put around him and I can't wait to see it.

This is one of the reasons that I'm not ready to give up on JJ just yet.  That frame of his will probably never change significantly, but he can get up and down the court like nobody's business.

We probably won't see much of him this year, and there'll be a lot of hand wringing about how Danny missed out on Marshon Brooks, but I think JJJ could be a nice piece for the next phase of the Boston Celtics.

I'll all in for being patient with J Cube.

That's were Jeff Green would have fit in perfectly this year, he can run the floor like the best of them.
Hope all goes well for him on the 9th & he can get back to full force next near.
