Is it just me or does the NBA seem to be getting Whiter lately?

I understand that there is an enormous influx of international and white european players but there seems to be more white american born players as well in the last two years especially.

I'm willing to bet the the league has started to get more white in the last ten years.

It would be interesting to compare all rosters of 2002 to the current rosters in 2012 on percentage of white players in the league.

I doubt the league actually has a greater number of American born white players than in recent years.  I think there are some more white players on higher profile teams, which changes perception.  Also, the emergence of Kevin Love as an All-Star, and Dirk Nowitzki winning a championship this past summer, have kind of raised the profile of white players in general.

I would venture to guess that there's a greater number of mixed-ethnicity players in the NBA than in the past, however.  Guys like Blake Griffin, Stephen Curry, and Kris Humphries are representative of the NBA's future, I think.

Nope. I just double checked the fantasy draft in my other league.  Non keeper. Not many whites at all. It's just our imagination from how many highlights they show of Minnesotta and of how excited we get when Steims gets on the court
