Magee for average $$$, not max. 5 mill a year.is that avg for most overpaid centers..? What did dalemburt get recently..?

I wish that was the market price for starting centers in this league. McGee will get at least $10M a year on a multi year deal.
Celtics fan for life.

I think tonight KG should be saving fouls from Stiemsma.

Stiemsma not only blocks and shoots, he also upfakes pretty well. He's smart.

If I'm Danny, I'm seriously thinking of giving McGee a huge offer this off season and hoping Wiz don't match.

Under the new CBA, can the Wizards still pay more?
Well he's restricted so they will have three days to match but maybe you throw him a max level deal and see if Washington let's you have him.

He will be a four year veteran, 24 years old and probably a guy that will give you 18-20 PPG, 10-12 RPG, 2 BPG, 1 SPG for a long time.

Is that worth a max contract and pairing him up with Rondo, Green, Bass, and the younger guys for the future?

Come on, is Javale McGee really close to showing the ability to put up 20-10 on a nightly basis?  That would make him one of the best centers in the league.  We're not talking about Andrew Bynum here.

Javale McGee, as big and long as he is, as great a shot blocker as he is, is actually a net negative defensively more often than not.  He's a terrible defender.  That more than anything should tell you to stay away until he learns how to play the game a bit better, and maybe works on his body some more.
He's six games into being around a good coach like Flip Saunders. I think you will see a different player defensively by year's end.

he was around flip all of last year

Looks natural.

.edit: actually, my hair-color after a haircut gets pretty close to that. Especially if it's that short.
