Not!

While I don't claim that one game against a bad Pistons team is evidence that JO is on his way to an All Star game, I do think tonight shows that a healthy JO can still be quite a good center.

While I don't think we'll see this every night, I also don't think this is a one time thing. He's younger than the Big Three and while he did come out of high school, he barely played his first 4 years.  And with his defensive skills and ability to score, he could prove to be the most well-rounded center we've had in the Big Three Era. Don't forget that unlike Shaq and Perk, he can hit free throws, so he can close out games for us.

Neither kg or Jo is done.

Best part of the win is that we did it without playing anyone over 30 minutes a game, and the bench actually helped pull away at times.

If JO can average even half of what he gave us tonight (10 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1 block in 15-20 minutes per game), I'll be very pleased.

Hopefully this game gets him going, but I won't be particularly confident in him until he can continue to perform well even when he hasn't had much time to rest.

So, you'd be happy if he does what he did tonight half the time and absolutely nothing half the time, so that he averages half of what he did tonight?  I think it might be fun to watch this board over-react to every ebb and flow if that happened.

I think that the doom and gloom regarding JO was a little much, but he's certainly not going to do what he did tonight very often. He had the very clear advantage of playing the Detroit Pistons tonight.

As I have said about Kg and the team in general. Gotta give em time. Their bodies are saying its still preseason. When they get in rhythm and gel, and IF THEY STAY HEALTHY, this is a top 3 team in the East and top 5 in the NBA.

Very glad to see JO play exceptionally well tonite. He looked loose and moved very well. Like Heinsohn said if he is included in the offense he will contribute. Big 4 minutes kept down, although it was Detroit. Dooling holding his own with the 2nd unit.
The Truth did bring it tonite. Some more softees coming up till Indy.

My favorite watch: Bass, who was that other guy Big something.........

JO will always say the right thing; but nice to see him back it up. Hope he is actually feeling rejuvenated.

JO should have more left in him than KG.  He's younger and he's been injured so much that he doesn't have as much mileage as KG.
