Right, but if you're hypothetically trading Allen for George then you are comparing Allen for the next 2-3 years to George for the next ____. George's upside is unlimited.

Not to mention Indiana loves the kid.

If Paul George was a Celtic, playing a sixth man role off the bench, would you trade him for a 36-year-old center on an expiring contract if you thought that would enable the Celtics to make a deep playoff run?

You mean like trading away Joe Johnson for journeymen Rodney Rogers and Tony Delk?

Well, of course it's a silly question.  The point is that if it would be silly for the Celtics to consider that sort of deal (and I think they would be), then it should be just as silly for the Pacers.

This lockout really shows Ray's professionalism.   He came totally prepared and worked hard in off season and it is showing.
