Ive seen a lot of trades going for Josh Smith (He and Rondo are friends/played in high school)

His game is really based off athleticism. He's a good shot blocker, but is slightly undersized.

So if he came to Boston, would you rather he played PF or SF?

he'd play PF.  Don't see how we get him unless it's some major trade where we dump KG and Ray's expiring contracts for Joe Johnson and Josh Smith

As much as I love KG and Ray, if play doesn't pick up I think Dany will do some thing like this.

Not sure if Atlanta would do this trade unless they are wanting to get into the Howard sweepstakes.

I just wonder if it works cap wise if the C's did that trade and if they could sign Howard.I'd pull the trigger if that would be possible.

 Rondo/Doolong
Johnson/Allen(he comes back after the season to retire)
 Peirce/Green
 Smith/Bass/KG(same as Allen)
 Howard/filler

Half way threw the season if Atlanta wants to dump salary and start fresh, Dany talks to KG/Allen and say, its not going to work this season, heres the deal, you head out of twon for a few months, and we bring you back for a one last run.

Not likely, but if any one can do it, DA could.

I love Smith.  He was always good and had potential but last year he really put it together, recognized his strengths and became effecient.

He is a powerforward no doubt and the SF label mostly applies I think because he can cover that position quite well too.

Would love to have him on our team, considering the Rondo connection, his defensive sensability, and his ability to run the floor and finish.  Don't see how it happens but you never know.
