We need a SG that can defend like Tony Allen did in 2010.
Pietrus should be OK as a backup SF, but I don't see Marquis or Pietrus guarding Wade in the playoffs.
We need a guy like Gerald Henderson

Wilcox and Bass are both PF, we also need a 7 footer in the paint

With small changes we can reach at least the ECF

A TA level perimeter defender is a rare thing. Come playoff time Pietus will be a decent match-up for wade. As for a 7' in the paint we have two JO and KG. JO has just looked very slow on rotation. We are better off with KG at center along side an energetic bass.

Henderson had a great game vs Miami. What could DA offer to the Bobcats? Clippers pick + Bradley?
That could be one of the best defensive backcourts in the league

How's this for some upgrades?

Hall of Fame small forward Paul Pierce replaces Sasha Pavlovic who wasn't active for most of the playoffs last year.

Mickael Pietrus replaces the undersized Marquis Daniels at the backup 3 spot.

Marquis Daniels replaces the not-yet-ready Avery Bradley, who should look good in street clothes on the bench.

Once we get healthy too, I'd consider actually making Rondo one of the first players we take out in the first quarter.

Take JO and Rondo out at the 6 minute mark.  Replace them with Bass and Dooling.  This gives us a great shooting team, similar to the Posey/House/Big Three lineup we ran in 2008 (slightly less range).

Then with about 2 minutes left, bring Rondo back in with Wilcox, Pietrus, and Daniels and let him run and gun with an athletic lineup that can finish on the break.

It gives us a strong lineup around the Big Three and better utilizes Rondo's speed with the second unit.

It also prevents us from ever NOT having an All Star on the floor.

Daniels doesn't look athletic at all for this run and gun you are talking about.
Right now he is a 2-3 wing player from  the bench

Well, you may be right.  Another option would be to run a lineup of Rondo, Dooling, Pietrus, Bass, and Wilcox.

Tony Allen is a top 3 perimeter defender, which all you guys knew when you hated him and wanted him gone.  How are we gonna get another one of those?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

TA was the most important lost for the C's, more than Posey

I wish we could do this (http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7slvgrm) instead

:P

I'd feel bad for trading off JO after he worked hard to make a comeback but it'd be far more than offset by us getting Monroe.
