Nice trading and picking by the Boston Brain Trust.

Plus we are already playing the old guys too much. This season is going to be a disaster. Pierce's injury will nag all year. They need to look to trade away KG and Allen now and start rebuilding.

We are not winning a title so there is no reason to watch this team slowly fall apart like the Celtics of the late 80's and early 90's.

Oh [dang]. We lost out on two guys who had good shooting nights tonight. I demand Ainge's head.

Also, I'll be waiting to bump this thread when the Celtics are using their bench a lot on the second game of back to backs... Like tomorrow against a significantly worse opponent.

Kind of can't wait till tomorrow. Rondo to JJJ for the finish and maybe the Purdue connection.

To the guy who made this thread, Doc doesn't like playing the bench (unfortunately) especially against 2 elite-ish teams.

Wow.

Throw the young JJJ under the bus already?

He hasn't even sniffed the floor yet. In Doc's system, unless you are a 20 year old KG or a Blake Griffin, you don't play.

Little norris looked good with some Officiating help. Not too worried about him once we get Paul and Mickael back.

Marshon Brooks? Of course he's getting playing time.....he's playing for NJ for crying out loud.

Marshon Brooks got 17 pts tonight while his team got wasted.

Yep.

To be fair, Doc did play the bench. The rotation was supposed to be 9 deep tonight, but three injuries forced his hand to roll with only 8. This is going to be a steady 10 man rotation without any of the kids factored in once Pierce, Pietrus and Wilcox are all healthy. And then the others are there for the brutal stretches and blowouts.

Why don't we wait and see what he has to offer before we count him out.. He might come out and be extremely efficient. Time and patience.

I thought we were going to manage minutes? Allen played 40, Garnett 33. This is not the way to do this. Just really worrisome.

Plus Cole is playing major minutes and had a great game. Make all the excuses you want.

We failed to get West, Green is out for the year. We are not winning the title guys. Face it.

Even the TNT guys talked about that fact last night.

Not winning the tittle has nothing to do with Cole and Brooks "being better" than Johnson..

Are we contenders, I don't think so but you never know what can happen. Lets face it we're two games in. Everyone just take a breathe and see what happens.

Brandon Hunter and JR Bremer both looked very impressive in their first couple games, then people learned how to defend against their strengths, and they quickly fell off the face of the earth.

I believe Kedrick Brown also put up 18 points here before in a Celtics uniform.  So did Gerald Green.

With all due respect, with the evaluation process you just posted, all 4 of these guys are better draft picks right now than JJJ who has yet to step on the floor in an NBA game.

I tried really hard to bring Joe Forte in the discussion but I guess wearing a giant scooby doo t-shirt during a playoff game as your career highlight doesn't warrant a mention in this discussion

These aren't the games that we're limiting the minutes in. In two huge, close games with a reasonable amount of rest for each game, you expect big minutes from the starters.

ctrey - no reason to call anyone a fool.

Please post as if you were talking to the folks here in person.

I seriously doubt you'd post like that if you met some of the folks here.

If we lose tomorrow what will you say then?

I do believe that Norris Cole has played better than Kyrie so far. Should the Cavs be worried?

That 0-3 feels bad, the team probably looked flat and it's a good thing there's 63 more to play.
