Do the Cs have ONE legitimate post scorer? And I'm not even talking strictly big men, I mean anyone who can get the ball in the low block and score from there at a reasonable clip.

Dare I say, free Shaquille Oneal  :P

In other news around the league, the Hawks are still good at beating up on mediocre teams, and will probably be in the mix for the 3rd / 4th seed again.

What's the over-under on how long before Danny makes a move to get a serviceable center on this team?  I just don't see how this team can stay competitive for the whole season starting JO and backing him up with Stiemsma or Wilcox.  Desperately need an inside presence on both ends of the floor.

I'd still love it if the C's could make some sort of move to get Kaman.

Do you really think we need to get slower?  Kaman's the least athletic guy on the floor tonight.

Minutes are worthy of note tonight, on pace for:

Rondo - 34
Ray - 26
JO - 26
KG - 28
Sasha - 22
Dooling - 30
Daniels - 26
Bass - 24
Steamer - 18
Bradley - 5
Moore - 1/5

Clearly leaning on the bench more than usual is going to lose us a few games this season, but at least Doc is giving the guys kinda a night off here. Just hope it doesn't give us an 0-3 start.

No, they don't, and other than Shaq they haven't had one on the roster in . . . well . . . since Big Al.  KG and Sheed have done it occasionally in the past few years, but not with any consistency.  Glen Davis and Perk had their moments, too, but they were far from reliable.

I'd be fine getting slower if we could get a legitimate inside option.  Kaman at least can post-up smaller guys, has some good inside moves, plays solid defense, can hit a mid-range jumper out beyond the free throw line, boards well, etc.

The new people excuse doesn't fly tonight. The Hornets have 9 new players.

Doc really sticks to those rotations.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Limit Paul, Ray and KG to 25-28 minutes every game. Get the 7th-8th seed and make a playoff run.
