It's been a while since would could count on something similar in that area.

Dooling 18 points
Bass 13 points
Daniels 9 points

If Pietrus is healthy I feel good about this group.

Dooling had a nice game, has confidence in his shot. Thought Bass had more, another strong game for the most part. Don't recall seeing 'Quis score multiple baskets, he's looked lost out there these past two games (understandable considering what he's been through will little time to prepare and start out against 'Melo/LeBron/Wade)

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Surprising that the bench scored more points than superstar Pavlovic.
I like Marcus Smart

It took some major B-S calls from the refs for Doc to have to play the bench. Then the bench showed up. Then Doc ended up going back to the starters and in the end, completely worn out Rondo made a game sealing turnover.

Fluky.  I wouldn't expect Dooling to do that more than once or twice this season.

Bass has been solid, though we're asking too much out of him (asking him to create his own shot too much).

We need to get more offensive production out of Wilcox and have something other than Dooling to distribute when Rondo's out.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Jury is still out on Dooling but at least he was knocking down shots when he was left open. [dang] sure didn't have that coming off the bench last year.

Dooling-Daniels-Pietrus-Bass-Wilcox is the best bench unit we've ever had with this group.

Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger

I hope Wilcox isn't banged up too bad.

Doubtful for tomorrow night, per Sherrod. Just hope it's not serious, but at least it'll give JJJ some game action. Gotta think that with JO maxing out at 15-20 minutes, KG maxing out around 33 on a back-to- back, that leaves 45 minutes for Bass and JJJ. I'd be surprised if the rookie doesn't get Wilcox's 15 minutes a night until he comes back, unless Doc prefers the Steamer.

Dooling looks like he will be fine on open 3's, but I haven't seen much else scoring with us yet.

Quis did his typical stuff slicing though the lane. Looked good. Sure, Wade made it tough, but he had some of his patented confusing moves in the lane.

Bass is looking like a beast and he continues to have a great jumper.

When we acquired Wilcox and Bass, it was clear that we would have an improved bench offense. The concern was defense. Hopefully being around KG and Doc can help with that.

Dooling is clearly a great shooter and a really solid option as a backup 2, he's going to have to work on running the offense (still early) to spell Rondo as well.

Quis played great tonight, those open shots weren't falling against the Knicks. They're going to be the key, he HAS to knock down the open 18-20 footers.

Bass earns his no-pass nickname, but his game is easy to love offensively. Defensively, he is doing just fine in my book with a few nice blocks. The rest will come.

Wilcox is still looking a little lost out there, but he adds energy and size. Hopefully his shoulder is fine and he'll get acclimated a little bit.

Bass reminds me of Powe on offense with his single-mindedness, though Bass has a nasty jumper while Powe was masterful at drawing fouls.

I just wish Doc gave the rookies a chance.
JO was invisible tonight, it wouldn't hurt to throw Stiemsma or JJ in for a while, it couldn't get any worse.

I think it's a little too early (or late, if you consider his career) to declare Dooling a great shooter.  Streaky.

Thanks.

I'd love to see Jajuan get some burn. The only way he's going to learn is if Doc allows him to play.

He may be a rook, but we're going to need him.
