Last night's 'choking' incident with KG wasn't the first time Bill Walker got into an altercation with his former Celtic teammates.. I've heard he had some sort of run-ins with Ray Allen and Pierce as well.. Is he bitter about being traded away by the Celtics or did he really not enjoy his time with the team? After I read this article, though, it seems that he's cool with them : http://espn.go.com/boston/nba/story/_/id/7390848/source-no-penalty-boston-celtics-kevin-garnett-bill-walker-incident
http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/knicks/post/_/id/8537/walker-kg-shake-hands-after-flare-up
"As Walker was leaving Madison Square Garden following the game, he saw Garnett heading toward the Celtics' bus.

He approached Garnett to say that he had no hard feelings.

"We shook hands, I talked to him ... I chopped it up with him. I still respect those guys," "

So, does anybody know what's really going on with Walker? Or is it just a 'heat of the game' thing?

I think that it was exactly as Walker described it: A heat of the game thing.

I remember Bill Walker being a pretty feisty guy who liked to mix it up from his days here in Boston.

Walker plays with an edge, and always has.  He also does not back down from everyone.  The C's, and KG in particular, like to try to intimidate, and take some liberties that don't go over well with a lot of players...Walker is one of the guys who won't just sit back and take it (for better or worse).

I remember him getting into a skirmish with KG in a scrimmage back when he was a Celtics rookie.

I don't think it's an issue of resentment or whatever. Just his nature I guess, at least when it comes to KG.

That's funny, I remember that time when billy walker mattered . . . Oh wait, that's not real . . .
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

I'm pretty sure Walker got into a skirmish with Lebron one of the first times he got minutes, and we all loved it.  Can anyone else verify this memory? We loved it at the time, how he didn't back down from anyone.

he looks like he ought to be better - when i was watching him yesterday, my first thought was that, "wow, i guess Walker has finally developed into an important bench player for the Knicks" - but then you look at the box score after the game and there is very little production.

I was thinking of that same play. Considering we have 2 of the league's worst trash talkers in KG and Pierce, it would be silly to complain about Walker giving it back.

I have seen Pierce do post game trash talk on the court and Posey did even worse when he was with us, taunting the crowd after a road victory. We are far from classy.

Kinda dumb though for those two to get into it post game unless they think it would have an impact on the next game -- which it probably won't.
