Any Talk of 'Melo Receiving Fine or Suspension?

To me the flailing elbow that connected with Rondo's face is far more of the type of thing the league should be looking to police against.  If the league was less interested in their image and more interested in the things at actually could effect the well being of their players this would be getting more attention.  

Not saying Garnett shouldn't receive a fine, but in the big scope of things was he really going to choke Walker to death or anything?  It's all posturing.  Melo's elbow could have done some actual damage.

It was kind of a funny thing. Rondo clearly sells it a little when he understands what is happening (which in its own right is a little bit of a victory. he realizes he's being intentionally duffed in the face, and immediately reacts), but at the same time, Melo clearly intentionally gets him in the mug.

I doubt anything will come of it.

I don't think it looks intentional enough to get a suspension, or probably even a fine.

It was nothing compared to what Wade was doing to Pierce and Rondo in the playoffs.

That 15 game suspension the snitchster served for that girly punch he threw was about 15 games too many.  So he's getting a pass for the elbow.

No chance Melo would even be questioned for a suspension or fine... Thats absurd to think about. Dude is entitled to his own space, Rondo just happened to get up in the worst part of it. Clearly wasn't intentional. No way he gets anything for that.

I don't agree with that at all... Melo nailed Rondo, hard.  I don't think it was intentional, but that was as far from a flop as you could possibly get.

There is no question that was an intentional elbow. There also is no question that the league did not even bother reviewing it.
