  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
What do you enjoy seeing the most?

A Rondo that puts up a 30 and 10, or a Rondo that puts up a 10 20-ish?

Both you and I really want Rondo to improve his jumper, but do you want him to play more of a scoring role (1st option via fast break), or a distributor role(The kind of guy that can give you 20 assists)?
I like Marcus Smart

both, going into the season Rondo has a lot to prove to shut critics up

"you're not the same as CP3"
"You cannot shoot"
"You cannot shoot FTs"
"You're not as good as a distributor as CP3"

he's either going to play with a lot of pressure or playing to prove his worth

Distributing Rondo is a given he's going to get 10 assist in his sleep no matter how the game goes, this year give me scoring rondo

i can def see rondpoo average 20 pts & 10 assist especially if he gets to the line as much as he did yesterday

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
both, just as he played tonight. He will get more stamina as the season goes on and his fourth quarters will get better too.

I was drooling at how good he was tonight- just walking around the Knicks and hitting jumpers/free throws.
It's got me very excited and I'm surprised how little chatter is going on around here.
If he can shoot 70% from the line it is HUGE for us this season.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The thought that a "scoring" Rondo could even potentially exist excites me. Today was the first time I've seen Rondo look like he's capable of averaging 20 points a game. That's awesome, and with this year's team, I think it may be needed. So I choose scoring.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

  • Rondo = Good
I choose distributing, if only because I don't believe scoring Rondo could possibly stay healthy for more than 10 games.

Rondo can't put up those kind of numbers against most teams.  The Knicks are terrible

"the Knicks are terrible"..... really?? I dont care who else is on your team, if you have Carmello Anthony and Amare Stoudemire on your team you can not be terrible. People will always find an exscuse to justify their opinion. Rondo can score a ton when he chooses against any team in the league and hes shown that before. When its required of him, he goes off, and this season its required of him, so expect this more often.

This is easy... a winning Rondo! I don't care how he does it but if he wins the Celtics win, that's all I need! For sure we will need these two things, separately some nights and other nights we will need both! GO CELTICS!!!!!!!!!

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

lol right? Not to mention they added Tyson Chandler. I mean the Knicks are no Miami Heat or Bulls in terms of defense but a lot of "experts" have picked the Knicks to win the Atlantic Division...they're a pretty [dang] good team.

They are terrible.  It was practically a layup drill.  Yes Chandler had 6 blocks, but their interior defense is atrocious.  Rondo destroyed them in the playoffs... averaged 19 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds through 4 games...

If we had guys on this team that could score the ball I might go w/ Rondo the Distributor but seeing as that doesn't seem to be the case...
