I think they should wait till they find out if Pietrus is good to go. It would make them think at the 2/3 spot. But if he is good then I'd be all for it if he doesn't improve by that point.

Only thing is it may be a month before that happens...

could work but for some reason i think brad should stay just look at his defense his jump shot can us alot of work but i think he should go inside and draw fouls more often

Bradley might turn it around, but it won't be this season. We need vets ready to give it all they got for a championship. The big 3 are too good to only have 1 ring to their legacy. The future will come, but we need good, proven, tough players now.

Maybe trade Sasha for a 2nd rounder or something to free up the money to sign someone else, but, regardless of what the ownership would want, I'd feel silly waiving a guaranteed contract after one game.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Point Guard: Anfernee Hardaway, Fat Lever, Terrell Brandon
Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

I am not  big fan of Sasha, but.....lets be honest. He was just as effective as Marquis (not) when defending Melo. He has an injured wrist that he is still wearing a brace on (left?). He was only in the game as a starter to play defense, which he did. No shooting or scoring was expected of him, they never even ran a play for him and he was open numerous times. I saw plenty of effort and he ran the floor well. The spacing he provided on the wings didnt hurt on Rondo's fast break layups.

This guy is an 11-12th man on our roster at best but not someone we need to cut this early. If his wrist gets healed up he is a dangerous jump shooter that plays defense with effort. I give Marquis a slight edge over him as a rotation guy and if Pietrus is healthy enough then Sasha may become our 14-15th man if he doesnt get his shot back. Until then I keep him unless we get a shot at a truly productive, rotation level big.

Then combine him with someone in a trade.

Agree. However, if Pryzbilla wants to come, we make room for him by moving Sasha however we have to via trade or release(assuming no injuries).

Pryzbilla gives us 6 fouls to use, minutes we can save for JO, and a backup for JO. It gives us the option of using of JO at PF & Pryzbilla at center.

Later in the year usually some veterans are bought out. Any possibilities?

Can't blame Sasha.  He wasn't playing poor defense against the snitchster.  The snitchster was getting messiah treatment yesterday.  If that continues...Like the messiah..It doesn't really matter who is guarding him.  The way the 4th quarter was officiated made it as predictable as a WWE tag team match.

I thought Sasha was more effective defensively vs. Carmelo. He had the size to guard him, while Marquis looked a little overwhelmed.  Sasha is no Paul Pierce, but was not the reason we lost yesterday.

it was not his Defense i think his Defense is good but why didn't he even try to score
