1. Bass was over-whelming with a dub-dub before the 4th quarter and in less than 30 minutes (I would put his rep a level up from KG's).
2. Wilcoxdid his best in most of the minutes he played in(refering to the 1st half)
3. I always knew Bradleywouldn't impress as a 1st round pick. Doc, bad decision of him over Moore...
4. Thank God that Johnson didn't usse up Bass's minutes. Good thing Santa put him on the naughty list and Doc answered!
5. Dooling didn't seem like the leader Doc talked of before the game but he seems like a good replica of Delonte(nice game with the Mavs today West!)
6. Quis... meh. Gives too many fouls but recovers his bad play by being versatile on the court. Mini Triple Dub Quis!

My final opinions:
- Play Bass as a 6th man, maybe let him average 13 pts, 7 rbs
- Let Moore get more chances. 3 minutes at least(take them from that un-achieving Bradley, I thought he got better...NOT)
- Doc, don't trust too heavily on Dooling. Like him, but don't love him.
- Smart decision on keeping Quis sticking on the bench
- Trade Johnson+Bradley+2nd pick somewhere for a young pro (atleast 3 years on his belt)

1. Love everything about Bass. He is going to be huge for us. Provides hustle, rebounding, intimidation, toughness, and offense without being a black hole...And he has a great above the rim game which is much needed for the C's

2. Obviously love Daniels. He played well today. Not sure if that play was drawn up for him and if it was that's certainly an odd choice but I was happy with him overall today.

3. Wilcox will be great as a back up center in his minutes (if he can pass the ball to the right team). He looked exhausted today however.

4. Dooling didnt stand out but I didnt really see him do anything wrong either. Let him learn the system a little more. He'll be a fine back up for Rondo in his short minutes.

5. Bradley just doesnt do it for me... Its too bad cause he really is super nasty quick on defense but he is just a liability on the offensive end. Hopefully Pietrus is healthy right away and can take away Bradley's minutes.

Bench looks good. Once in tact we will certainly have to get KG's minutes down... He looks like a 35 year old NBA player with mileage. Its going to be tough counting on him as we have in the past.

Bass was awesome. I hope he continues to get lots of playing time. The bench still needs some help though, and I'm surprised New York didn't run away with the game when the Cs bench was out there.

Really could have used Moore out there. Hopefully Doc saw enough of Bradly to say no more minutes. He is awful. If Bradly would be aggresive I wouldn't mind but he almost plays scared.

Daniels looked like he was working hard to deny Carmelo position but we really needed Pierce (or Pietrus) to lock down Melo. Amare is our only problem on the Knicks when we are healthy since Melo is an easy cover for Pierce.

That Wilcox pass to Melo was pretty embarrassing, but Melo was open. ;)

Well, the good news is that when Pietrus starts to play, it solves two of our problems immediately: no more Bradley (or Moore for that matter) and Quis gets to play the 2.

If we had Pietrus yesterday, we would've won, as Bradley's back to back turnovers in the 4th never would've happened.

If Bass keeps gobbling up those rebounds I will become a big fan. Inconsistency offensively I’m prepared for and will be able to forgive most of the time. But I expect to see the rebounding effort from yesterday on a regular basis. There was a 5 minute stretch yesterday where he was just outmuscling and outhustling the Knicks to grab every available rebound on both ends of the floor.

Dooling I’m giving an extended grace period. Doc’s playbook is complicated and all the PGs we sign take forever to pick up the basics if they ever do. For now I just expect him to be smart and steady and play defense.

Wilcox maybe because I keep mistaking him for Sheed every time I see him, I have quite low expectations of him. Him looking alive and not piling up Ts is fine with me.

I love Marquis and I’m so happy he’s back playing with us. He did what he could. Melo is a tough match up for him. He's not bad at the 3 but I prefer him at the 2. Hopefully Pietrus can play soon.

Bradley I don’t know. He’s barely had any training camp and preseason play since he was drafted. At the point maybe they need to focus on grooming him to be a defense specialist and limit him to cutting to the basket and breakaway dunks on offense.

Moore I’m not opposed to seeing more of while Marquis is our back up 3.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

If we are going to play Bradley it needs to be in spot defensive duty with the first tram. This would lessen the impact of his offensive ineptitude since all the other guys can score. Moore should replace bradley when doc goes four or five bench guys at once. In that situation we need a guy who can create his own shot. This however won't matter once Pierce and Pietrus are playing and bradley or moore will play
