I really dislike the Magic. They are worse chuckers than we are: most of their shots are three point attempts.

Hope they lose.

Chucker makes it sound like they have poor shot selection.  They are 3rd in 3p%, 4th in eFG%.  Given their personnel, their offense should be three-heavy.

Let me rephrase then:

Their reliance on the three-ball makes it a bit like watching someone play slots. I don't enjoy it.

I agree.

They are a mentally soft team that relies way too much on 3s to win. At least we'll run sets to get open looks.....they will shoot trailer 3s early in the shot clock without any real play call.

I cant believe they signed Jason Richardson for another 4 years. That guy is borderline cooked NOW let alone in 2 years time. J-Rich and Big Baby Davis are the two latest blunder signings from Otis Smith...and he's really going to struggle unloading them to other teams.

Ok...my two sleeper teams out west are HOU and MEM.

MEM is VERY dangerous...Zach getting his legs back under him..Marc is a top 5 Center...Rudy is hungry after being out last yrs playoffs.

They have a good bench..OJ Mayo is reliable and a starter on half the teams out there. Speights has gotten better and could start or come off the bench.

TA is a renowned defender..so any team they play will have their best perimeter shadowed.

PG? Conley is not flashy at all, but is a top 10 PG...leading the league in steals.

They are giving OKC all they can handle in OKC right now. And I don't hear ESPN or anyone talking about them. Lionel Hollins trying to sneak up on folks.

HOU? They seem to play EVERYONE tough...they are doing this without Kyle Lowry and Martin, too. Kevin McHale doing his business.

I love Perk and OKC, but if they trip up in the post-season, they could be at a cross-roads...isn't both Harden and Serge up for new deals?

An early exit for them could change that team drastically. If what I stated is true about Serge and Harden, would they come back to OKC if they go out in the 2nd round?

It's pretty much Western Conf Finals or NBA Finals for OKC, or bust. But....if they get upset.......

Serge or Harden to BOS next year?

Harden should definitely go and seek a deal elsewhere. He is good enough to be starting on any team, and should fetch more money than OKC can offer. Serge may be in a similar situation. So its now or never for OKC.

I wouldnt buy too much into Memphis beating them today. They are on a back to back from playing Chicago.

Weird to have NBA games on the night of the NCAA Finals.  The squeezed schedule broke the traditional night off.
Yup

I was wondering if there were usually games on tonight

Regardless Memphis is pretty legit. Beat the lakers away last week, they are just solid all around.

Plus beating OKC, Bulls, or Heat even on a back to back is still very impressive especially on the road.

I'm going to hop unto the Memphis bandwagon as well. Doubt Houston will amount to much come playoffs, but Memphis is definitely set up to make some noise again.

Hope they get to the conference finals, they'll give whoever is going against them by that time a grueling series.
