Could be, but I imagine that if LA ends up meeting MEM somehow in the semi-finals or earlier, they will probably suffer the same fate as the Spurs did last year.

TA will weard down Kobe over a series, and Mike Conley will make life tough for Sessoms. Factor OJ Mayo in there, and MEM is a sleeper once again.

LA, while still a very good team, is perhaps the 3rd or 4th best in the WC right now, IMO.
