Maybe this makes me a bad person, but my first response to this is....and you stayed married to him all this time?

I mean, did she just learn about this?  What is she basing this estimate on then?

That's the point.  This comes across as a woman who knew exactly what was going on, but was OK with it.  And honestly, that's her business.  Some people have arrangements like that (like politicians). 

Now, perhaps a lawyer has explained to her how much money she can make by the divorce?

As others have said she knew what was going on, she just figured that now would be a good time to cash in. I wouldn't be surprised if all of this was due to her finding someone she wants to be with.

Anyone else find it hilarious that when estimating, she says a specific number like 105 instead of over 100?

When you want to purchase something, $99.99 sounds better than $100.  When you want to nail a cheating husband & take him for all he's worth, 105 sounds better than 100. :)
