I'm still p---ed about the lockout.
Celtics fans will continue to argue with others and amongst themselves about our team's prospects.
I, personally, am nervous and excited simultaneously at our prospects.
I really don't know what to expect(and, really, neither does anybody else).
But after watching 1 quarter of a meaningless second preseason game against the hapless Raptors...I am unjustifiably pumped about the season and our prospects.
All it takes is a couple of Rondo jumpshots and JO blocks, and I'm ready to hang #18.
I thought (and really still think)that the CP3 trade would have been great for Boston. But right now, in this instant, Rondo is the best PG in the league (defense, passing, MAYBE he's finally got a j?).
I couldn't see myself rooting as hard for another PG. He's simply fun to watch.
I'm worried as hell about JO's health, and even though KG was relatively healthy last year, I am constantly worried about, him every time he jumps and lands.
But, man, they sure look long and quick out there, (Against the raptors in a worthless presesason game) and they are ready to bother everybody's shots.
ANd Dooling is under control, and Bass and Wilcox look pretty good down low on the second unit.
I don't even know what I'm hastily and somewhat drunkenly typing about during a commercial break, but...It's good to be a Celtics fan at the beginning of the season, drinking Belgian beers and being pumped up for Tuesdays.
I'm not guaranteeing a championship, but I hope everybody is at least a little hyped up. That's what makes it fun to be a fan.
And in principle, I'll always be a realist, but I will hastily admit that sometimes it is more fun to just "drink the kool-aid". Until the season is over, I'm definitely going to get way too excited when the C's look good, and way to upset when they look bad...and it is going to be awesome.
Pavlovic for 6th man of the year.
Steimsma just sunk a nice looking hook and i better go.
