I think we should leave one spot open for the roster (increase of a reliable, cheap free agent) and give the other spot to Gilbert Brown. Brown is one of the greatest free agents out there. We should sign him to a 10-day contract and play him for the first week as 10 MPG while Pierce sits out, resting his injury.
Jameer an elite PG?Please, ask that to his garbage highlights.

PAUL PIERCE, NO!

Has not shown much but with Pierce sitting does not hurt. Would hope we could get more size at that position down the road. Think we also need Stiemsma - he could be or Erden this season.

I'm fine with Stiemsa and Brown to round out the 14th and 15th spots on the bench.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Can we please stop with the "(open discussion)" title names.  It is redundant on a discussion board.
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I'm not. I think you have to leave at least one spot open for veterans. I'd rather have our last two spots filled by vets. With the shortened season I feel that the entire roster will be used.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think this is the first step in all the chinese players leaving. Hopefully we can get one.

If not Boston, I'd love to see Kenyon Martin go to San Antonio.

It'd be lovely to see Tim Duncan get some help in the paint defensively.

Give them nonguaranteed contracts and replace them with better vets when they become available.

Very much agreed.  That's exactly how I am picturing Stemsma's role.  Erden had a surprising amount of value, he was solid and in this condensed season it would be great to have a young big to eat up some minutes so KG, JO, and the rest dont get run into the ground.

I'd be okay with Brown, (thought I'm with Corey... he is a top free agent? What?) Probably a total dream scenario but I would love Wilson Chandler.  I think he is underrated and has a lot of potential.  His athleticism and offense off the bench would be huge.

It'll be interesting to see what he is offered when he returns.  If it's not too much all around maybe he will throw in on a contender for cheap and try to win a title.

Kenyon would be huge for us at this point.

Given the monetary difference if he's able to come back now I think he'll go to the Spurs or Knicks.

I posted that a little too quickly. His buyout still does not allow him to leave until after the Chinese season. So you could make the argument that the difference in money will be lessened because it will only be prorated for half the year.

So is he buying out of his contract just so he doesn't have to play for his Chinese team anymore?  But he still has to wait it out?

I made exactly that argument in the other thread.
