We've all been a bit concerned about where scoring would come from this year.  Obviously why CP and DWest were targeted by Danny.
As long as RR is dishing, Ray, KG, BB, etc. can knock down open jumpers, but what happens in the last 6-8 minutes of games.  You know, when every team, especially the better ones, tighten the man to man D, and take away those open shots?
Well, you go to your guys that can create their own shots, ugh, PP and, and, and ?????? We have no one else. Oh, yeah, and PP is hobbling now, and probably for some time to come!
Big, big problem.  Looking at some close games, or games with leads late, getting blown due to the above.
I don't have any answers, just lamenting.  Maybe we shoulda kept Marshon Brooks. He sure could get his own shot off.
It will be interesting to see what happens!

concentrate on rebounding (defensive) and RUN, tommy theory and it works, teams can set up a defense
I would love it if during regular season doc kept everyone numbers in check and gets a good swing of bench players in (not scrubs) jj, moore, wilcox and bass etc
rondo had great assist numbers last year with very little fast break basketball , compared to other teams, if kg is playing 25 minutes a game he'll play like a mad man  ::)  ok crazier than usual, work to get rebounds and break out

It is looking like the C's first two 3's on their depth chart are their first two players out.  But if it forces Doc to play his 4th string 3, Sasha may get his confidence and flow back and that could be very important by the end of the season. They'll need his size and strength on D for the playoffs.

You mention rebounding and one of the things I really liked about both Bass and Wilcox in their first preseason game is that they both seem to really look to put their bodies on somebody when a shot goes up.

At first, I thought to myself, "this must be what they call boxing out."  It has been so long since I've seen a big consistently employ this approach to rebounding that I had almost forgotten what it looks like.
