A D league SF would be a better add.

And why isn't Danny trying to convince Joe Kleine or Ed Pinckney to come out of retirement to give the C's some depth in the frontcourt?

Is it because he's still mad that the Celtics traded him for them?

You stubborn man Danny!

I don't think Danny is particularly stubborn.  I mean, he did bring Antoine back, after all.  I just think that he doesn't see a lot of value in Posey.

He should be. I wasn't a fan of the trade either. Talent for size.

Well, they already have Gilbert Brown in training camp.  He has the maturity of a four-year collegian (who was a medical redshirt as a freshman) and the potential to serve as a three-and-D role player who can give the team some athleticism.  I would give Bradley first crack at backup SG minutes and Daniels and Pavlovic at SF, but Brown might have the opportunity to earn minutes.

I'm fairly sure the Cs will go after another back-up wing.  It's a matter of the right guy at the right price.  We only have the vet min, which eliminates some of the guys we'd really like.  I've seen no confirmation that Stevenson and/or Thornton would take the min.

I think we can play for a while with Marquis and Sasha backing up the 3, if we can't get anyone soon.  That leaves the trading deadline, and the buying out of vets still to come.

Let go of Posey. The guy was great while he was here; but has done absolutely nothing since and that was several years ago.

You call it stubborn, I call it smart.

Agree 1,000 percent. Posey is done.

I wouldn't mind Thornton but don't think he'll sign for the vet min. never liked Stevenson. He had poor judgement early in his career and that beard contest just typifies it.

I obviously don't think Posey is done. He'll probably latch on somewhere and IMO show that he is not done.

Danny will ruin this season for the celtics they need two more young vets for the bench losing jeff was big and he wants to wait for Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. to get bad to finally do something meaningful

Haha. A backup forward that's one step ahead of the law. "Does this flight have a layover in Las Vegas? Because I can't really set foot in Nevada..."
