Remember last years draft? If you don't, we picked at 19th: Avery Bradley, and Luke Harangody at 52nd.

We all know the story about Avery, and he is still around but Luke was traded at the deadline to Clevland. He crashed the boards, had a nice 3pt shot, and could be a spark off the bench at times. Very decent player for a second rounder. Fan favoruite.

JaJuan Johnson. Being mentored by KG, coached by Doc and playing around hall of famers, could either become a great sixth man or a very decent starter in the future. He has a nice post game, great shot, he can block, run the floor and with the right amount of work, become a very good NBA player.

His best friend, and former teammate (at Purdue) and now a teammate in Boston:

E'Twaun Moore. Possibly the steal of this draft. Even though it's early, the kid can  talk but also live up to it. He can catch and shoot very well, nice pull-up, COMBO-guard and he is mature.

My question is.. who would you rather have? Luke and Avery, or E'Twaun and JaJuan?

Edit: Avery Bradley, Luke Harangody and Semih Erden VS JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore and Gilbert Brown.

Doc's gonna tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

Yeah iknow, my username is Kendrick Perkins and my ranking is Jeff Green. Ironic huh?

Concur. Even if Avery played up to his potential I'd still say this since Moore is a clearly better pickup than Harangody (even right now) and Jajuan is a bit worse than Avery.

Edit: Though Semih, Gody and Avery would be a wash because Semih is a pretty good player for the very last pick.

Really?? Just because he didn't play like a god during those 7 minutes he was on the floor in his first NBA-preseason game, doesn't mean he is worse than Bradley. I'm not saying Bradley is bad, but JaJuan is a bit better, with more upside.

This year by a very wide margin. I felt that way the second the draft was over

You didn't read my whole post :( I said if Avery played to his potential, he'd be a scorer on par with John Wall but way undersized.

Really tough to say at this point. If Bradley puts a couple things together, he could be a mini-tony allen (train wreck dribbler, elite defensive stopper). Of course he could be Marcus Banks. Juan Johnson, if he fills out, could be David West. Or he could be Gerald Green with less hops, less range. Ouch.

I'll definitely take this year's haul.  Harangody is a borderline roster player, and Bradley is still trying to put it together enough to prove he belongs here.

Moore looks comfortable and I think there's reason to be confident he can be a roster player long term, and JJJ has the potential to be a key rotation guy as long as he isn't too lacking in strength.

No question. Jjuan and Moore are here to stay (in the NBA anyway). Moore could be a Chauncy Billups type who does not have amazing atheleticism but is crafty and has killer instincts.

Johnson Moore without even having to think. Two guys that could potentially give minutes for almost any NBA team right away. Bradley and Harangody are both D leaguers at best.

I'd rather have Bradley, Johnson, and Moore.

And technically Semih was drafted with Bill Walker and JR Giddens.

I like Etwaun alot. Im actually surprised that he plays THIS well.. I always knew that he was a good player, but this is fantastic :D!
But i think that its to early to call him the "Steal of the second round". There is actually alot of guys from the second round that has been playing really good thus far.. Here is some.;
Picked nr 40; Jon Leuer 21 min 6-11 18 Points 5 Reb.
Picked nr 41; Darius Morris 23 min 5-9 11 Points 3 Reb 3 Ast
And someone that keeps telling us that size doesnt matter (For a point guard at least :D)
Picked nr 60; Isaiah Thomas 22 min 4-8 13 Points 3 Ast.
At this point.. its just to early to say that Etwaun is the steal of the draft.. But i would definitely point out Isaiah and Etwaun as the steals..
Jack of all trades, master of none.

JJJ and Moore have more experience and upside I think than Bradley or Gody.

EM & JJ.

I think these two, especially EM, have real potential to make contributions to this team right away.
