Can Moore actually become what Danny said? Yeah, Moore looks like a veteran from his offensive moves from the training camp / preseason, but can he become more reliable with our team?

He's done nothing to rule out the possibility, so it is within the range of outcomes for Moore.  Therefore, the answer is "yes".

Maybe but I don't know if we are going to find out until the Celtics are 100% sure that this same question is answered for Avery Bradley first.

I think Moore will ride pine and see lots of play in Portland this year and that Bradley will get a bunch of time as the backup SG. if he fails miserably, then Moore will get a shot and then we will see.

He showed some good stuff in the preseason game and the televised practice I saw but he also looks to be missing any lift, an explosive first step and the good lateral movement/speed needed to guard the elite SGs in this league. he does have what appears to be a very good head on his shoulders so he could overcome some physical deficiencies with intelligence.

I like his poise and demeanor on the court, but it's way too early to project him as an impact player.

E'Twaun Moore grades out well statistically, as his 1.0 PPP overall ranks fourth of all wings, and he's doing it on an impressive 17.6 possessions per game. Moore is the most sure-handed of all wings, as his 9.2% TO% is easily best in the class, especially for someone using that many possessions.

Moore is excellent in the pick-and-roll, where his 0.97 PPP ranks second overall. Moore's 7.7 jump shots per game are third most in the class, though his 1.0 PPS on them ranks just eighth. He makes a solid 40% of his 3.8 catch and shoot jumpers per game (4th), and 38% of his pull-ups (4th).

There's a case to be made that Moore is one of the most underrated players in this draft class, and his showing in this sampling does nothing to discourage that notion.

He does looks good on the court so far, but this could be because he is in much better shape than the rest of the guys after playing in Europe during lockout.

BIG COMPARISON- he kinda reminds me of Chauncey Billups- very upright and methodic with the ability to hit that long 3.

can he contribute its too early but so far I'd say yes, he sort of plays like a vet, doesn't try to do more than he can / plays within himself and team game
again its early but he looks better than bradley

Seconded.  I liked seeing that ET had some basketball instincts and wasn't afraid of putting up shots in crunch time.  The guy has an impressive basketball pedigree, out-dueling Eric Gordon for an Indiana HS championship and having Big 10 success for four years at Purdue for hard nosed coach Matt Painter. 

Let's hope DA's second round magic touch graces us again.  The Celtics could use a break this season and if Moore can contribute real minutes all year that will be a nice break.

I'd take a player with high basketball IQ but not explosive/athletic over a slamdunk champion with no basketball IQ (re:Gerald Green) anytime!
