I wonder how much they paid him.

Williams and Kirilenko should be a very attractive tandem to Dwight Howard.  All-star PG, and a playmaker/defensive sidekick 4.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

AK's agent is denying it though:

Kirilenko's agent on SF coming to the Nets with done deal: "Not true. I haven't negotiated anything."

Quote
More from agent: "Not saying there is no interest, but I spoke to Andrei an hour ago and nothing is done."

Couldnt get it done in Utah... Certainly won't get it done in NJ. Love Williams and love Kirlenko...But they need a couple more pieces.

I agree.  A very attractive pair along with Anthony Morrow a nice fit at the 2.

True, although I wonder if the Nets would be able to sign more of an impact player with the $10 million or so they would have tied up in Williams + Kirilenko.  Shooters and defensive players are nice, but the Nets could use somebody who can create offense on their own.

Williams?  I'm guessing that was a typo, Roy?  Or perhaps a different Williams?  Also, any reports/rumors on how much AK is going to sign for?

Sorry, they signed Shawne Williams to a two year deal, as well.  The combo of he and AK47 is the one I would have held off on.

Ooooh yeah.  $3M in cap space used up for a very ordinary player there.  I think AK still has the potential to be that impact player though.  I good fit at the 3/4 around Dwight, being able to defend both positions, and also able to shoot a little.  I say a little, because I'm really confused on whether this guy can still shoot the 3 or not based on his highly variable 3pt% over the last 4 seasons.

What kind of impact player for $10M were you thinking of?  Caron Butler?  David West?
