That's bananas wait till his growth spurt hits, lol. He's probably going to end up around Yao's height. I can't see him remaining a wing he could end up a KG type big. I just wonder if he's really 14 he does look young though.

Agree.  Guys over 7'4" are notoriously brittle.  Sampson, Muresan, Manute, Smits and Yao Ming were all done at an early age  due to the innate fragileness of their bodies.   Mark Eaton is the only 7'4" I know who retired on his own terms.  One somebody gets that tall there are bound to be problems.  Building can only be stable up to a certain height and I am sure the same is true of people.

I know he wasnt freakshow tall, but Shaq at 7 foot 2 carrying around all that weight, and playing almost until 40 is nothing short of a miracle.

This kid is 7' feet tall?  It's hard to tell due to his posture, but he just doesn't seem that tall.  Either that, or the other middle schoolers in that video look 6'6".

b) that kid is legitimately unsettlingly thin.  like, it's difficult to look at him, he's so thin.  his legs are thinner than most NBA players' arms.

Even if they are off a year or 2 on his age, growing that quickly is often going to leave a kid very skinny.

It is possible that his age is legit and he is just a serious outlier.

Exactly.  He's probably been growing really fast, so a little awkwardness is his movements and a lack of explosiveness should be expected.  I think he could def. be 14.  He looks very young.  He most likely is 7' too.  The other players he was playing with were most likely other middle school stars and players being ranked, so theyre likely to be 6' and up.

I'm very impressed with him.  He has a great handle, and post game for someone his age.  Thabeet wasnt that strong of a ball handler or shooter when he was drafted, nevermind at 14.  If his body stops growing and doesnt cause him too many medical issues, he could be a beast.
