If he can still shoot, I like him on a little deal.

61 games in three years, 10 games (13.4 mpg) last year. He's still only 32, so Redd *should* have some gas left in the tank.

Man, how cool would it be for Redd to start and end his career backing up Ray Allen

Not another "Injury prone" player

He hasn't been able to play more than 40 games the past 3 seasons

Garbage

Look at someone else instead

I've been suggesting Redd be looked at since the season ended. IMO, he'd be the perfect backup to Ray and future replacement if he chose to end his career here.
His game completely compliments Rondo's - great shooter, spot up and can create his own shot.
I'd much rather see Redd getting minutes at SG than Dooling.

Plus with such a compacted season, Redd could play 20-30 mpg when the Big 3 rests.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Depends if Redd is really healthy, and if he has anything else left in the tank.

Daniels is obviously a questionmark because of his health, but before he was hurt last year, he was a very good 3rd wing.  He was defending, and fitting into the offense very well, as the team cruised in the first half of the season.  So, I am not sure I would take Redd over him.

Sasha is another story.  The benefit of Sasha is that he is semi-reliable, and can defend.  So, you can feel pretty confident that if injuried happen, and you need him to step in, he will be ready to at least plug the hole short-term.  But, Redd certainly has a lot more upside.

I like to look at Sasha as a wing version of Scal.  If you need him to play, you are in trouble...but you will also be happy you have someone who won't completely lay an egg.

I don't know, I would feel better about Redd if I had any confidence that he could still play NBA basketball.

I'm all set with Michael Redd.  He's too much of an injury risk for me.  Plus, even if he's healthy, I don't really see him being much of a small forward.  I see him more as a pure two guard.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that between Marquis and Sasha, we'll be fine at the backup wing positions until Green returns.

If we use a minimum contract to pick up another guy, I'd still rather add a young, cheap developing big like Fesenko, Haddadi, or Ajinca, guys who I believe are all still out there and available.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Marquis and Sasha are both excellent defenders, maybe Pavlo better than Quissy. On the other hand, Sasha can shoot while Quissy can drive almost as well as Pierce (last time I saw the guy shoot was in 2009).
Makes me wonder why we need Green at all. Not questioning his talent, but if he doesn't show a lot, he'll have to take the bench's end. Or a contract in Europe.

Green is clearly more talented than Daniels or Pavlovic. You can pair him with both Pierce and Allen, and have the three of them play ~30 minutes, with Pavlovic or Daniels sopping up the rest.

Without Green, you're stuck with both Allen and Pierce playing 30+, and Daniels and Pavlovic playing 15+ minutes every night, which is clearly not a good situation for us.
