CP3 is good... not the greatest of shooters, but a great leader and decent scorer.

Clippers
Trading:
Gordon
Aminu
Kaman
1st Rd. Pick

Hornets
Trading:
CP3

HUH?

why trade to get a point guard when Mo. Williams did a excellent job for them post trade. why trade if you already have Bledsoe, if he was suppose to be the future post baron Davis trade, and last why trade if you just claimed Chauncy off waivers???

Wow hornets got a great steal out of this :o All they need now is Iverson to sign with the Hornets and they're solid

Definetly not a bad trade, but I would probly be feeling a little raw if I was  Clippers fan after giving up so much. At least thats how i felt when we traded for KG and Ray, but its really just because of attachment to certain players. Both teams really came out looking real good in my opinion.

its never a bad trade when you get back a superstar.  However, with that said, they gave up a lot.

Clippers gave up too much.

All teams pulled out of trade talks, so they were bidding against themselves.

Eric Gordon should not have been part of the trade.  Hornets were in the weaker position, and the Clippers stupidly folded.

They will still be good, but, trading Gordon will come back to bite them I think.

Clippers got Paul and cap space in the future to build around Paul and Blake.

Good move for both teams.

Can somebody fill me in here?  Does this mean that the clippers have both Paul and Billups?  Will Billups be the 2 guard?
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Sure looks like that's what they are planning. Mo Williams too.

Nice three man backcourt there.

So then their Depth chart is

Deandre Jordan/Marcus Hubbard
Blake Griffin/Ryan Gomes/Craig Smith
Caron Butler/Ryan Gomes/Jamario Moon
Chauncey Billups/Randy Foye
Chris Paul/Mo Williams

Am I missing anybody significant?

Yup, that's it. Everyone important anyway.

Trey Thompkins, Wille Warren, Travis Leslie. A few camp invites. I don't think they've signed C.Smith or J.Moon yet. I expect them to sign C.Smith. Probably not J.Moon.

I woldnt call it a bad trade, but they definetly gave up to much. They probobly should have tried to give Bledsoe or Williams or both rather than Gordan. Now they have a lot of solid pgs, not enough pplaying time to go around.

Chauncy still has more value than being  CP3's backup in my opinion. CP3 must play 36-39 mins a night. Too bad
